The wiring here is much better than the stock one for sure. The sensor you're looking for is under the seat towards the gas tank - the connector will look the same. Before you remove it, take a photo and make sure in the picture you can see the wire colors. The position 1-3 read left to right and will read left to right when looking at it from the seat of the wheeler. When unplugging the connector the tab has to be pressed down to make it come off. Make sure you give yourself enough wire to work with when you're cutting them and make sure you cut below where they are likely shorted (burnt). From there, place the large heat shrink over the new connector end, strip and crimp the old lines, and then heat gun each individual splice. Lastly, when you're ready to seal the splice, place the large heat shrink over all three and heat with a heat gun being careful to not melt anything. Plug in the new connector and zip tie it loosely to the frame so it can move just a little. You should be good to go!
