Highly recommended! After purchasing and trying several different bed rails, this is the only one that truly feels like it was designed with the real needs of new parents in mind. This bed rail is very easy to install and only took a few minutes to set up. It feels sturdy and secure with no wobbling at all. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my baby is protected from rolling out of bed during sleep. The fold-down design is very convenient for making the bed and getting in and out easily. The quality is excellent, and it is definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend it to any family with young children.

We have an existing bed rail that is a no name brand which worked ok but is succumbing to our 1 year old son who is able to stand and pull down on it with all his weight. We bought this bed rail to replace it. We are very pleasantly surprised by the build quality and design. The top frames are made of rectangular sections that are much sturdier. The mattress corners are well thought out as there are protective covers to hide the sharp edges. It wasn't the case with our previous bed rail and we kept hitting our shins on it. The latches have double locks to prevent our son from accidentally unlatching. The latch design is also more ergonomic and easier to operate than our previous bed rail. We have a queen bed and this fits perfectly. The panels are also taller than our previous bed rail. Where the old one only came up to our son's chest, this almost comes up over his head. This helps us sleep better as he tends to wake up and play in the early morning when my wife and I are still asleep. We don't have worry about him pulling himself over the bed rails. I really like that the corner caps have a screw to anchor them so that our son won't be able to undo the. The installation took about 45 minutes to an hour and was fairly easy to follow along the assembly instructions.

I originally got one of the other sets of bed rails available on Amazon (which all basically look the same) and the first night one side bent/broke with very light pressure. We returned that one. We then got this one because it said it had thicker metal. It was so much better made it’s like someone got the other type I originally ordered and fixed 90% of the poor design elements. Things that are better: 1. The thickness of the metal; you can feel the difference in weight just lifting the box it comes in. Once put together it’s quite stable feeling. 2. The corners that go under the mattress; they come welded together with an extra support so they aren’t individually slipping around as you construct it. 3. The lifting and lowering devices; these work very easily and are well designed 4. The side that is open towards the headboard has the underneath support across the bottom that hold the side together better 5. The corner top connection caps actually come with screws to screw in. The other versions just pop on and off constantly. 6. The foam that lines the top beams is higher quality and fits better 7. Easier to click the pieces together because on some of the pieces it has a slight lip that helps guide it 6. More visually appealing The only negative is that there was a seam that wasn’t sewed together properly and arrived with a hole but everything was so much better than the other version by different company that I’m still giving it 5 stars. Note: I was not paid for this review; I just disliked the other version I had so much and appreciate that this company addressing the poor design issues

The product is built sturdy, however, for it to stand up to a busy toddler the top sections needs to be outfitted with a 4th component to provide maximum stability. Without this only 3 sides are connected. The two side rails are connected to the foot rail, but the head is not. I strongly recommend an upgrade.
