How is this Thunderbolt compatible?

Does it still have the optional port for power? Many reviews says it does, but the pictures provided don't show it. It seems the color changed as well

The previous six I bought didn't have a power port. The last two I bought late in 12/2020 (delivered 1/2/2021) does have the power port and is a darker gray. These are either an earlier model that were dredged up from somewhere or Cable Matters has returned to including the power port (although no power cable was included). Whatever the reason for the power port being on the last two I bought, they still work fine and support TRIM.

Is the entire case made in aluminum?
