The Cyborg's Stowaway: In the Stars Romance (Gypsy Moth) [Langlais, Eve] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Cyborg's Stowaway: In the Stars Romance (Gypsy Moth) Review: I stayed up so late to finish this book! - I loved this story! Although it is the second in a series, it can be read as a standalone. It is so good, smooth writing, deep characters, an interesting story and emotional depth. I loved Gwhenn's spunk and how she knew her own mind, and also everyone else's too, lol. Crank is such a sympathetic character that he deserves the shake up that she delivers. I stayed up late to finish reading it, I couldn't put it down! Yes, I am a huge Eve Langlais fan but her books are just so good. Read this one, you'll agree with me. Review: Great premise but not fleshed out well - This is the second book in the Gypsy Moth series. It is a quick, simple read that is in the same style as book one. It is advertised as a possible standalone but that may be pushing it somewhat. I did not care for the repetition of exact descriptions of certain aspects to the world that the author built, which were already known from book one. It contains a couple of bad editing errors possibly from an auto correct program but that leave the reader in limbo having to figure out what was meant by a paragraph or a couple of sentences with words/phrases that make no sense. I love the concept of this story and the incredibly unique male and female lead characters. The sex scenes are brief and in the authors normal style which I find to be somewhat formulated. This installment may be a 'standalone' in the mind of the author, but without reading book 1 and 2 I'm sure book 3 would make little sense. This book did interest me enough to be motivated to read book 3, The Captain's Secret Daughter.

Tough cyborg and tricky Pixie what can possibly happen
“Crank” is hard-core. He may have once been human but with so many Cyborg parts, he is cold and keeps everything in check. Until a small stowaway gets his attention. Ghwenn is running from her father’s plan. She will not be used. She ends up on the Gypsy Moth and found by Crank. She tries to sway him but it doesn’t work. But looking into his eye she sees her destiny. You have to feel for Crank. He didn’t have all that much time with his wife before she was ripped away from him. But holding on for that long, so sad. These two are so funny. With her pushing all his buttons and him just egging her on, boy are they a pair. You just can bet the sexual tension is riding on a slow simmer and is going to boil over red hot. I do love when the “pixie” confronts him with his emotions for his then wife and what it all means. That was a slap in the face.

I didn't like it much
The plot was too simple and the details too many. I didn't like it much.

This story delivers
I should tell you theat Eve Langlais’ books are hit or miss for me. Thankfully, this one was a huge hit for me. A cyborg who still mourns his dead wife and a fae who stowed away to escape something far worse than just an arranged marriage. I love her snark and power and while not so much a fan of a species who believes mind control is ok, thank goodness her cyborg isn’t susceptible to mind control...so they have a chance to fall in love. I love a man, alien, shifter and any of the paranormals who aren’t man whores but find a love they can hold on to and Eve delivered this time.

The Cyborg’s Stowaway by Eve Langlais
The Cyborg’s Stowaway by Eve Langlais Sci-fi futuristic romance. Crank’s first wife died and he doesn’t want to let go of his memories. Being in charge of the stowaway, Ghwenn was not going to change his mind. But he finds himself fascinated. Many references to other series and characters but easy to follow as a standalone. Fun but lacked depth. This couple just didn’t click with me. I will read the next in the series because I do love this authors humor and wacky storytelling.

Great entertainment!
I love this grumpy take-no-prisoners cyborg! His little, talented elf-like stowaway tweaks just about every button he’s got! All she wants is to get away from a repulsive wedding she’s being forced into. I had such fun watching them together. It doesn’t take long for Ghwenn to break through some of those tough cyborg defenses. They still have to fight off those pesky Driadalys who want her back (or dead...). Fast paced, entertaining, humorous, and, yeah, lusty! Read and enjoy!

Funny, steamy, adventurous!
Fun quick story or a stowaway who finally shows a cyborg how to live again. Enjoy the journey as Crank learns to let go of tte pvp so he can have a future with Ghwenn. Their ups and downs will have you giggling and shaking your head. It us a great Eve Langlais read as usual! Can't wait for the next one!

Was fluffy but ok. Didn't get anything new. Connection between mcs was not very convincing. Heroine was flat and unengaging. Meh.

I've never hated a heroine so much! How can you get into a story if her arrogance irritates the reader at every turn.

This story just lacked subsidence.. Didn't like the male lead an liked his love interest even less. She was sneaky and spoilt. How it ended so quickly I will never know.. they just get married to spit her father an he in turn is going to blow .them out of the sky..... the.end. Think the author reached her word quota an just wrapped it up without rhyme or reason
