desertcart.com: COB LED Strip Light IP68 Waterproof, 16.4FT 12V High Density 480 LEDs/m CRI>90 3000K Warm White Solid Silicone Sealed Dotless LED Tape Light for Outdoor, Pool, Bathroom, Landscape (No Power Supply) : Tools & Home Improvement Review: Nice looking lights - I tried using these in a outdoor application and so far they are working really well. LEDs are nice and close so you don't really see each individual light in the strip. Typical easy attachment and the illumination and hue are both consistent throughout the roll. Review: High quality, waterproof, bright. You need a power adapter rated at 12v and over 4A per strip - I think I'm so used to how many inexpensive LED lighting strips there are that I don't recognize quality right away. At first I thought this was a bit expensive but then when I examined and tested it, I realized it's designed for durability and safety, and is suitable for permanent installation in an outdoor environment exposed to weather. It would be suitable for underwater use as well, with the IP68 rating, which means it can be submerged. The entire strip is encased in a thick silicone, but is still very flexible. It's very bright and with the proper power adapter there is no flickering. There isn't really any information about the proper power adapter. I think the manufacturer assumes we all know how to figure that out. But it would have been nice to include more information about the rating of a power adapter, and how to identify adapters with the proper waterproof connection. The plug itself is a standard plug that most 12v adapters use, it's just encased in a waterproof fitting. Those are readily available but you have to know what to look for. As far as the power rating of an adapter, this one will need a 12 volt DC adapter that's rated for over 4 amps (4000ma). You calculate the amps needed by dividing the watts by the voltage. This one is rated at up to 48 watts, so 48 divided by 12 = 4A. However, you really should use an adapter rated higher than that for safety. So 4.5A or higher. It's okay to use a much higher amperage adapter because devices just draw the current they need. But if you use an adapter with lower amps, not only could you damage the lights and the adapter, but it will cause the adapter to overheat and potentially cause a fire. And of course, if you have any other lights or devices connected to an outdoor power supply, you need to include their required amps in the total. So look for a 12v DC, 4.5A or higher adapter with a waterproof coupling. If you use more than one of these strips, you need to multiply the required amps by the number of strips, i.e. two strips will require 9 amps or higher, etc. It's also not mentioned that if you cut this light strip, you need to seal the cut edge with one of the included end caps or it won't be waterproof. If you don't use the end connector that allows you to add more strips, that should be either sealed or replaced with one of the included end caps as well. With that info, you will end up with a durable and well constructed light strip that should last a long time. The price is okay for this quality.

Looks Well-Made and Waterproof, but Power Supply Not Included
I didn’t realize when ordering this LED strip light that it does not come with a power supply, so I haven’t been able to test it powered on yet. This review is based on what it came with and how it looks out of the box. The LED strip has a thick layer of plastic/silicone over it, and it definitely looks waterproof, which is great for outdoor or bathroom use. The strip itself appears well made and decent quality, and the LEDs are packed closely together, giving it a solid, professional look. Overall, it seems like a good-quality LED light strip so far. I’m hoping I feel the same once I get the proper power supply and can actually turn it on.

Strip light with no remote and no power source. A light with no use.
This feels like a good quality strip light. But I can only imagine how good it might look because it doesn't come with a power supply. It doesn't even offer a link or a description of the power supply you will need. It doesn't come with a remote. It does come with mounting hardware, but why? So you can mount a light strip that will never generate light for you? I simply do not understand why this is for sale.

No power connections?
To start off, this feels like a nice white light LED strip. I was excited to use it as some under cabinet lighting. They have some decent mounting brackets with it. The downside is, there is no power supply for this. It has a twist connector piece but no wire to connect it to a wall outlet or computer LED connectors or anything else. There is nothing in the instructions about what type of connector this is to even buy the other parts. Its hard to leave a full review when I cant even test the product part how it looks and feels when it isnt functioning.

This LED strip creates a nice ambiance for evening gatherings
COB LED Strip Light IP68 Waterproof, 16.4FT 12V High Density 480 LEDs/m CRI>90 6000K Cool White Solid Silicone Sealed Dotless LED Tape Light for Outdoor, Pool, Bathroom, Landscape (No Power Supply) The COB LED Strip Light was a breeze to install thanks to its strong adhesive backing—no tools needed! The brightness is impressive, illuminating my patio and garden with a pleasant 6000K cool white light that sets the perfect evening ambiance. The quality is standout, especially with its IP68 waterproof rating, so I don’t have to worry about rain damage. With 480 LEDs per meter, I believe it's excellent value for money. Overall, these lights are durable and a fantastic addition to my outdoor space.
