Bunnies love this; vet recommended
My 4 and a half year old female lop has started having some mild joint pain due to arthritis, according to our vet. She gave us a bag of these supplements. I noticed the active ingredients are glucosamine and chondroitin, which are proven to improve joint pain in humans. I'm honestly not sure how to assess whether they are helping or not, but I can say that she loves these :)! She'll run over and jump at them like a little piranha lol. I give her bondmate one too, because he generally gets everything that she does XD. He also loves these. I figure we don't really know whether or not supplements help humans, so it would be even less likely to know whether they help rabbits. But these are made with good ingredients, clinically proven actives, and my bunnies love them. So at worst, I'm giving them a daily "healthier" treat that they love. At best, I'm helping to support their joints. It's a win/win, so I'll continue to purchase these.

Healthy treats
My old picky bunny loved these after a few days. At first he wasn’t interested but now he considers them treats. Hoping these help his 11 year old bones.

Still Binkying at Their Age
I have two senior indoor bunnies and started using this mainly for the turmeric to help with inflammation. They’re also on digestive support, allergy/sinus herbs, and a tiny bit of vitamin D since the UVB light didn’t end up working for them. This stuff isn’t cheap, and with all the supplements it adds up—but honestly, it’s worth it. My bunnies are still active, running to their food and even doing little binkies. I really think this joint support helps keep them comfortable and moving well. It’s hard to find good, rabbit-safe supplements, and I trust Oxbow. If you have older bunnies and want to support their joints naturally, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try.

Bunny would eat them like candy if I let her.
My veterinarian recommended these as a preventative measure for my 7 year old Lionhead bc of her age. She has never shown any signs of joint pain, so I can't speak to their effectiveness if there are any active issues, but she goes absolutely nuts when I take the bag out, and sprints away with the biscuit, flicking her feet the whole way (the bunny equivalent of giving the finger). If these biscuits allow her to enjoy her favorite pastime of flipping me off in my own house for years to come, then they are a very worthwhile purchase.

Quick improvement observed in my senior rabbit’s mobility + she loves the taste!
My rescued rabbit is phenomenally picky on everything she eats. She turns up her nose on 11 of 12 brands of hay we’ve tried, 5 of 6 formulas of pellets and countless rabbit treats. So I was very pleasantly surprised when she eagerly consumed these joint treats! For easier chewing, I break each one in half and place one treat on top of her mixed greens salad every AM. She eats them first! She’s 6.5 yrs old and began showing some slight sluggishness in her hindquarters, yet still fully able to get around and go up and down her stairs. Within just 3 days of starting these treats, all sluggishness disappeared and she once again has a pep in her step. I’m as shocked and skeptical as can be that a treat can do this so quickly, but this is the only new thing that was added to her routine prior to her surprising peppiness.

Guinea Pigs love them.
I bought these for my older guinea pig who has arthritis. She loves the taste of them! The wafers are scored so I can break them in half.

Ingredients are good quality, but my picky gerbil doesn't seem to like them.
The quality of the treats themselves seems to be great, the amount in the bag is as to be expected. They smell like hay, which makes sense as they are hay based. I got this joint supplement treat by the recommendation of my veterinarian for a senior gerbil. Unfortunately, that gerbil is extremely picky, and straight up refuses to eat them (she doesn't like any of he oxbow hay treats I've tried with her either) unless I incorporate it into something she actually does like (typically some kind of fruit or veg, or treat she likes). The treats are relatively large, and the amount I was told to give is 1/4 of a treat per day. Ms. Kimi will not let me give her 1/4 a day so she gets whatever I can get her to take. I'm sure the health benefits of this product are good and recognizable, as the supplements used are trusted by NASC. If I could get her to actually eat them without lot of encouragement, I would likely be seeing that result more than I am currently. Additionally, the expiration date seems to be over a year out, which is nice.

Noticeable increase in activity in senior buns
My two senior (~8 years old) rabbits love these! They are easy to break in half, slight smell of hay. They go crazy when they hear the bag open. I've actually noticed a difference in their activity levels when I give these consistently. They were getting pretty lazy but they've been binking around much more, I assume this really does help support their joints and makes it easier for them to move and jump. I know supplements like these are often not beneficial, so I'm very pleased to see how effective it is.

Our Flemish Giant is almost 7, he’s still active but a bit slower, has stopped jumping up on the couch or bed, seemed like the time to give him a boost. The treats are very hard / crunchy, the first 3 times I gave him these, he only nibbled a bit and lost interest. If that’s your bun, don’t give up or think they don’t like them, because after that he was excited for the treat and had no trouble eating it all. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m noticing what seems like some ease in movement. While he’s not jumping on the furniture, he certainly seems busier and to have an easier time getting up on lower objects. If your senior bun is slowing down, I highly recommend giving these a try!!
