How does the magnification up to 30x work? are the settings preset choices or can i customize up to 30x?

I’m not sure what you are asking. I use the presets using the button on the right. I did not customize nor did I know it was an option. If you have a branch of the Light House Guild available to you, they may be able to help. There is one in NYC and one in Chicago; there may be others.
