Everything you need. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2019* Easy to read=easy to jam.Yes, it only has 2 Uke pages (as other reviews have stresses), but that’s all you need to jam on the uke!! Love the page layouts- starts with page of all the common chords in the typical keys, then another page with each key with the I, IV, V and VII chords. They give more pages of detail after the charts, if you want to tighten up your chops, like seventh, diminished, augmented, suspended chords, arpeggios and some scale info. Banjo has 4 and 5 string charts AND charts for a bazillion alternative tunings.Not terribly excited about the blank do-it-yourself pages at the end, but hey- bonus.Nothin but love for J. Bruce Jones for creating this book. ### ⭐⭐ Mandolin chords seem off *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2018* The chord charts for mandolin seem unreliable. For example, the C chord is depicted with the G and E strings with an x instead of o, and other C variants are shown sometimes with those strings x’d and sometimes o’d. There is no explanation as to why open G and open E should not be part of the C chord. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This book might be useful if you have an instructor to answer your many ... *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2015* This book only contains 39 pages of information; the remaining pages are worksheets. It contains only 14 pages of guitar chords and theory with inadequate explanations. It contains only 6 pages of mandolin chords and 2 pages of ukulele chords. The remaining 16 pages are for banjo in various tunings. The book attempts to cover basic open chords, barre chords, movable chords and power chords for the guitar in too few pages. It covers basic mandolin chords, 2 finger chords and arpeggio scale, but doesn't cover double stops and again its explanations are inadequate. This book might be useful if you have an instructor to answer your many questions, but as a stand alone (learning) resource it doesn't cut it.
