Amazing robot ball
My son got this for his 7th birthday recently. He loves it so far and we are very impressed by this robot ball! Educational and great fun!

I want one, too!
Bought for my daughter, who loves to program it. Will need to get a second one for myself…… Too much fun! Excellent control apps and projects to try, just the right size, capabilities and sensors and it just looks “alive” as it runs around the room. Costs a lot, but about the same as a microbit, but does alot more.

My nine year old boy got this off Santa, he does really love driving it around , o think it is pretty expensive though

Unreliable
I bought the original Sphero, it was buggy at first so I put it away for a while and got it out again a year later, it worked for a short while and then stopped working pretty soon after, so I bought the Sphero Bolt. It worked initially but my daughter got bored, it had fewer features than the original unless you want to programme it. So again it went ignored for quite a while. I dug it out the other day and charged it up. I can see it on one android phone but can't connect, and though could briefly see it on the other one, I restarted the phone as I couldn't connect and now I can't see it at all. I've tried resetting the bal but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Acheté pour initier mon gamin de 11 ans à la programmation, la boule robotique remplit le job !! Pour de la programmation est peu plus poussée, il est possible de programmer en Javascript. La Sphero Bolt est arrivée nickel, aucun problème de connexion Bluetooth avec un smartphone. Bref, un super outil ludique .
