Southwest Technologies TW6040 Elasto-Gel All Purpose Therapy Wrap

Love this product. I have tendinitis in my shoulder and the weight of this keeps it snug on my shoulder. The gel gives it a lot of flexibility and the cover is soft. I keep it in the freezer and use it after each workout and when my shoulder aches. This one works better than others I tried and stays cold longer. Haven't tried it with heat yet but was told by my physical therapist to be careful to not over heat it. The cover is a smooth, soft material which snags easily with the velcro fastener. Since the weight helps to keep it secure, I only used the fastener once. It helped to keep it a little more secure while I moved around. Instructions say to store it in the provided plastic bag while freezing it in case it leaks. It folds up and fits with plenty of room in the bag. Havent has any problems with leakage.

The wrap is great. Sometimes the straps are a little tricky to manage, but once it's on, provides really good coverage and pain relief.

This is a superior product recommended to me by a physical therapist. Its weight alone gives you greater benefit because it holds more closely and completely to the body. The hook and loop straps also holds the cold/hot pack more tightly to the body. It is important to have something, i.e. a hand towel, between the hot/cold and the skin to prevent injury. Using the freezer or microwave to get the desired temperature, it holds the cold for much longer than any other cod pack I had ever used and I had used numerous ones over the years. I consider this the best cold/hot therapeutic pack I have ever used. It is so far ahead of any other cold/hot packs it is well worth it's price point. I highly recommend this cold/hot pack.

Purchased this for my total knee replacement surgery...works perfectly. No adjustments like when you use gel packs...your always trying to keep them in place.

I used this for the first time after my PT session following my total knee replacement surgery. It felt so good so I asked them if I could buy it on Amazon. I ordered it and it arrived the next morning. After putting it in the freezer for two hours, it was so cool on my knee. I have lots of cold packs in my freezer but this one is the best by far. It wraps around my leg and is very flexible. I wish I had known about this one sooner.
