Featuring an aluminum inner coating to reflect body heat, 9 tieouts for versatile setup, and dual zippers for flexible use, it’s designed for backpackers and emergency preppers seeking lightweight, multi-use protection against sun, wind, and cold. ## Description Made out of Tyvek 1460C or "spunbonded Olefin" ultra-soft material that blocks 98% of the sun's ultraviolet rays, is tear resistant, water resistant, and breathable. Its high durability to weight ratio makes it the perfect material for the Trifecta. To start off, we made the Trifecta big, measuring "36.2. inches (92cm)" by "87.7 inches (223cm)" in its zipped BIVVY configuration, and "72.5.8 inches (180cm)" by "87.7 inches (223cm)" in its unzipped Canopy/ Blanket configuration. Then we added two zippers with an inside and outside zipper for even more flexibility and ease of zipping the BIVVY once inside. The inside has an aluminum coating to reflect back the radiant heat given off by one's body. To finish it off, we added a total of 9 tieouts. The Trifecta is designed to be light weight and portable to help keep you warmer and dryer. The V4 TRIFECTA has many functions. A few are listed below. If one of the uses is as a tarp, how "water resistant"?** A: In tarp mode it is waterproof, the material has a hydrostatic head pressure of about 1800mm. I put water resistant in the description due to the zipper β€œas good as this one is” it is not a truly waterproof zipper as those would easily increase the price by 4 fold. **Q: How bad is the condensation? Will I wake up soaked as well as my sleeping quilt?** A: It is very little. You will not be soaked by any means. My hubby loves his. **Q: I didnt see the dementions of the tarp/bag ?** A: I got this off the 2gosystems website β€œ"35.4 inches (90cm)" by "87.7 inches (223cm)" in its zipped BIVVY configuration, and "70.8 inches (180cm)" by "87.7 inches (223cm)" in its unzipped Canopy/ Blanket configuration.” **Q: How well does this breathe?? Is there a lot of condensation during & after use?? Thanks.......** A: Yes, there is condensation. The temperature outside gets colder and you are emitting moisture all of the time. It condenses inside the bivvy by morning. However, this bivvy made camping so much nicer on top of my sleeping bag this past spring in Wyoming and N. Dakota.
