Pans great, magnets meh.
The pans work well. I have been using them since I bought them in 2022. I had decades old tubes of paint that I wanted to transfer to some thing portable. I now have three tin box water color palletes I use with these pans. Recentily, I received the small (alttoids? size box. No pan holders in the box (known before ordering). The magnets were attached to the pans. The magnets are strong, adhesive not so much. Moving the pans around results in the pans coming out, but the magnets staying behind. The magnets are now attached with tape to help the adhesive.

Glad I bought these half pans
I bought these to replace the plastic wells the came with my Pretty Excellent watercolors. I didn't care for it which was a downer since I couldn't fit my brushes in the metal tin. Enter these beauties. It took some wiggling to remove the paint from the plastic wells (each of the paints is glued down) but once removed the fit into the half pans. Full disclosure -- I did have to push my paint into the half pans so don't expect them to just slide in. But they do fit perfectly and the magnetics (reason I bought these) were easy to apply. The magnets stuck to the half pans and to the tin with no problem. I wonder how well I they stick once wet but I'll come back to update it they stop sticking. Anyway, it also can with 52 half pans and 50 magnets which was a nice touch. All in all great deal for the price and the extras. Now I can rearrange my half pans and add extra paintbrushes to the tin. I can also add extra half pans though I don't need it... not yet. Get these half pans and happy painting. ๐จ

Just buy it. It's the best set.
These are absolutely perfect. I decided to get back into painting after a decade plus break. I was convinced my paints would be useless so I looked for a premade pallet and tried one but it was a dud. I thought for $6.99 I could try to use my old tubes instead of waisting a decent amount to try another pallet. I am shocked by the quality of these. I used my old prismacolor colored pencil tin (the 24 pack) and it fit all 50 perfectly with room for a couple brushes. Yes, I did say 50. Not 48. In fact this set came with 53 pans and 50 magnets. I was also shocked that all but 4 colors are good after all this time. This set saved me a good chunk of money and my time and patience by not having to try another pallet. If I had to pick a con, it would be the fact that I now have to wait days for them to dry before I paint, which would be a problem with any pan on the market. I actually prefer the magnets on these than the sets that comes with pans that fit in a line. I like to be able to move them around easily. I don't have to pop them out of a specific spot. And I can also put a couple in an Altoids tin on the go. PS, a little trick my teacher friend taught me, if you need to erase sharpie in the future, go over it with a dry erase marker. Comes right off of you need to relabel.

Great Half-Pans, Terrible Magnet Adhesive
These half pans are just the right size and shape for my watercolor palette. I have added magnets to my other ones and thought the included magnets would make attaching them simpler mainly because they are pre measured to fit the pans. Other reviews mention that the adhesive was not long lasting, well in my case it was just completely non functional and even peeled right off some of the magnets. Since I knew this ahead of time I only docked the rating by one star because it was easy enough to use double sided tape to get the magnets to stick properly and that's what I'd done in the past. The half pans are great for small travel-sized palettes or colors you use less of in your bigger palettes, and they fit well into my metal cases (also purchased from Amazon). I think I'd like to get some full pans at some point in the future for colors I use a lot of. The plastic is sturdy and seems like the pans will last a long time, I like that they are white too, I will be able to use a sharpie to write the pigment and other paint information on the sides as an extra reminder when the paint runs out or if I decide to change up the order of my paints. I do recommend these as it seems hard to screw up the half pans themselves, but with the caveat that you should expect to need double sided tape or super glue to actually get the magnets to stick.

Great for Watercolors
Very happy with these half-pans, they were the perfect size. I used mine to make a portable watercolor palette inside of an empty candy tin, and the magnets nicely secure the pans in place. The magnets are secure enough to do their job, but still easy to move and rearrange paints with ease. This product is a great tool for my watercolor painting. I recommend hand washing all of the half-pans before use because some of mine had a little dustiness. Washing and drying them thoroughly will give you the best surface to secure the magnets onto as well. Tubed watercolors dry nicely in the pans in thin layers

The magnets are the best part
These are awesome for squirting a little tube paint into and then sticking into an altoids tin for art-on-the-go.

Pans are decent, magnet adhesive is useless
I bought these to build a few watercolor travel palettes out of altoid tins for gifts The pans are decent, not quite as thick or well-finished as those I have purchased from Jackson's and Blick, but way less expensive. And I suppose that the thinner pans means they might store a bit more paint. QC seems decent enough, all the exact same size and fit into standard half pan palette slots just fine. They also don't seem to stain badly, which is nice for cleaning and reusing pans. However, the primary reason I bought these was the inclusion of adhesive magnets. The magnets are okay, not nearly as strong as some tiny neodymium magnets I have bought in the past for the same purpose, but that is too be expected. However, the magnet adhesive is nearly useless. I ended up using super glue to attach the magnets to the pans. I would recommend these for the pans, but if you want the use of the magnets you should either plan on gluing them yourself or look elsewhere.

They work as well as I could want
I've been squeezing colors from the tube onto a pallette when I want to paint. Although that remains the most fun for me, I am aware that I'm wasting paint. I bought these half pans with magnetic stripe to be able to be able to pull whatever colors I want to use while wasting much less paint. The magnets stick to the plastic half pans and the magnets have Goldilocks grip to the metal: just right. It's also nice to use for sharing tube paint with friends. The magnets stick nicely to my larger altoids boxes and fit just fine into the pallettes with detachable trays that you slide the half pans into.

Strong Magnetic Strips.
Arrived on time- which is always a great thing. The pans & magnetic strips look just like photo. Bonus: the magnetic strips are stronger than expected!

Pans are fine, magnets are useless
The pans are pretty normal half pans, not great quality, but I expected that. But the magnets are useless; they don't stick to the pans at all, if you lift a pan out of a tin, the magnet gets left behind. I have a pallet that the pans clip into, so the magentic stickers weren't important to me, but if you need them, they really don't work.

Magnet adhesive not strong
It came with 69 not 64, and 75 pcs of magnet. Thanks for the extras! My only complaint is the adhesive on the magnets dont stick well. I'll have to super glue the magnet to the paint pan to make sure they hold permanently. 3 of 8 that I've filled have come undone already.
