This item arrived on time in perfect condition. I upgraded my Dell desktop power supply and needed this cable for my DVD/DVR drive. Easy to install and works great.

New power unit didn't have the proper cables to power my old slim DVD drive. This adapter works well and was a great solution.

Added an additional 9.5mm slim drive to one of my desktop PCs and it only had one slimline SATA power adapter in it, so this was required to adapt a full size SATA down to slimline. Works exactly as it should!

What more can i say. Plug and play. did the job, worked great. get it if you need it. I did and i'm happy. Designed to convert a standard power supply SATA plug to the smaller power plug used for a CD rom drive in a desktop or laptop. Not sure why the manufacture would decide not to use the standard plug. I replaced the power supply in an HP tower, and needed this because the replacement power supply didn't have the small power plug for the CD/DVD drive. This did the trick. Get it if you need it. It will work for you.

I got a new power supply and needed this. It works as needed and had no hastle. Would recommend. Not sure how durable it is, it is in my case so that isn't really tested, but it's of course a bit little.

This worked perfectly for adapting the full SATA power to Slimline SATA for a DVD drive in a customer's machine after I updated his power supply to the non-factory option. Now my customer has a nice power supply, and a working DVD drive once again!

I replaced a failed desktop power supply and the new power supply dis not have a connection to power my CD drive. This cable did the trick and seemed like very good quality with secure connections at both ends.

My OEM desktop came with a non-standard SATA power cable connector on the CD Drive. I replaced the PSU and the new SATA power cable wouldn't fit. This adapter fit the drive on one end and plugged into a standard SATA power connector on the other. This was a perfect solution to powering the CD drive with its non standard power connector. An easy and inexpensive solution. Recommended highly.

DELLのpresicionに大容量の電源を載せた後、スリムタイムのSATA端子がなかったので、これを探してました。ばっちり使用できてます。

It works!

I got this so I could upgrade my psu on my Acer tc885 e17 I bought during the winter. I've not installed the psu yet as at first got the wrong type(down fan instead of back). It's a 500w seasonic atx but is non modular and didn't have the mini connector that the dvd needs for power. This looks like it will work. Only reason I didn't give it one more star is the black cover on the wire cable doesn't have a sealer at the connectors leaving it more vulnerable to possible breakage.

XPS8930の電源を750Wに交換したら、内蔵DVD用のSATAが6ピンなので、本製品を購入。問題なく作動。 最初500円の7ピンを購入して、この6ピンがDELL特殊仕様なのに気づきやっと本製品探し当てた。 ちょっと高いのでマイナス1。 そういえば純正電源から直接生えていたよな、6ピンケーブル・・・・ 余計な出費だが電源交換でRTX2060が問題なく動き、PCからの音が1ランクアップしたので、 まあ 良しとする。

Bought because I needed an extra SATA power cable for my CDROM. It's flexible and fits perfectly. Good length too.
