Beautiful rug. I have a 4x6’ version of this rug so knew (I hoped) what I was getting. Shipping was fast and it was well packaged. The rug is EXACTLY 6’x8’ as advertised. I didn’t notice any smell and haven’t noticed any shedding (consistent with the smaller one), and it unrolled flat except for the tight edge, which I’m flattening with hand weights. It has a fairly deep and dense weave. It doesn’t need a pad but I repurposed a good quality 3/8” rug pad I already had and the extra cushioning makes it feel elegant. Excellent quality for the price. Very happy with the purchase. Update to the above review: this rug does shed (unlike the 4x6’ version of same I’d purchased a year earlier). It’s easily picked up with the vacuum cleaner and hopefully will diminish over time. Still happy with the rug.

I started my rug search at high-end design centers, so I know what expensive rugs look and feel like — and honestly, you cannot beat the price and quality of this one. The color is completely true to the photos: a crisp black-and-white pattern with an awesome mid-century vibe. The rug arrived with no odors, flattened out within 24 hours, and the texture is soft yet durable. I’m using it in my game room under a pool table, and it looks perfect. Fantastic quality for the price. I highly recommend it!

The rug is thick (1”) and well made. The colors are neutral and can be used with light blues, greys and beige. It was packaged extremely well and arrived undamaged. I was a bit annoyed about my Prime shipping delivery because it was promised by 9PM for 2- days until it finally arrived.

Nice rug. So far it is holding up beautifully to cats claws. Ivory with light brown and grey flecks give the rug texture and interest. It is beautiful make, the underside is professional quality. No odors that I can detect. Yes it does shed buckets, but only when I vacuum and does not affect the quality.

5 stars… I purchased two of these rugs in different color variations. The first review is below. I have cats and I need to shampoo my rugs on a regular so I try to purchase two of them so the first one can dry out thoroughly since it’s so thick. This one is the ivory/brown. And it is quite lovely. It doesn’t have a foul smell like the first. I realized now that the first one must’ve been used. Please see the photos. They both match my decor perfectly although they are distinctly different. But I wanted to upload pictures because I had to take a risk because I couldn’t find any review photos. Hopefully my pics help you to make an informed decision for yourself. 1 star… The rug itself is nice enough. Not exactly like the photo. But my problem is that it smells pretty foul. I read a lot of reviews with people complaining about foul smelling rugs. Now I know what they mean. Sellers/manufacturers, do not send us dirty, foul, smelling rugs, that is not okay

We bought the 9X12 in the color Ivory/light for our bedroom. We’ve had it for about 3 weeks and are really happy with our purchase. In our home we have a lot of mixed brands from pottery barn, west elm and crate and barrel. I get really excited when I can find something on Amazon that mixes in and no one knows! This rug is definitely one of them. When it arrived I immediately took it out of the box (packed very well). It took about 2 days to air out because it did have a slight odor, but it was completely gone in 2 days. Some people have complained about shedding, but as soon as we laid it down I vacuumed the rug for safe measures.. ours is not shedding at all. The rug its self is pretty soft and comfortable to walk on. I like lower profile rugs. This is low profile, but has a sense of thickness. Overall, this is a great rug! We are very happy we bought it. We haven’t had to spot clean it yet, so I can’t comment on cleaning it, but for a bedroom or office it feels really durable in the lighter colors.

I bought two smaller rugs to confirm that I’d like the pattern before ordering the room sized version. I looove, looove(d) this rug. The style, the color variation, thickness with no padding, the quality. It did have a period of intense shedding, but it lessened after a few weeks of deep vacuuming. I loved the rug. After several weeks of rolling around on it, our dog was constantly breaking out in hives and itching to the point of tearing his skin. We tried the usual remedies, but it finally clicked that he was allergic to the wool. I was also breaking out in hives, but I can suffer in the name of style and avoid sitting on the rug. So disappointed because now we’re back to plastic rugs that’ll be matted and trashed in two years tops. :(

This rug is beautiful. I’m so happy with my purchase and I was surprised with the quality for the price. The color is much more pink than red, and the texture is soft. I have it in a kid’s room for two girls. It didn’t have a strong odor and doesn’t shed very much at all. The size was perfect for our room. It is very heavy so it lays flat nicely.

Beautiful rug but overpriced and rug had a dark ?grease liked spot on it when received - that is not shown well in the picture
