Do they come in different sizes small med large

It is adjustable to the size of your leg. Mine is average size and it would adjust to a larger size , probably twice as large .

Is it sore on the back of your knee? The front of it feels good but the material on the back feels scratchy/uncomfortable

I'm finding the straps quite thick, especially compared to an old pair of white straps I still use on occasions. I agree that the back of the pad can irritate the back of the knee, when one is sitting, but I find in OK when I'm moving.

Does the patella tendon knee strap have magnets

No its just a strap that provides support, kneecap sort of rests on it

Are they effective for running ?

I have found they have given me the confidence to run, without any pain during my run and the next day.
