This soap cleans effectively and is surprisingly gentle on hands. It's soft on skin compared to regular laundry soaps, doesn't leave hands feeling dried out even after repeated use. The cleaning ability is actually slightly better than standard brands I've used. Lack of chemicals and great use of natural/balanced contents make it really good on hands. Dissolves at a reasonable pace, so the bar lasts decently. Good value for what it does - cleans well, stays gentle, and does exactly what it claims.

Excellent washing and stain removing efficiency! Lathers well. Soft on clothes, far softer than regular market brands. Soft on hands as well. Smells like old-fashioned village soap, which it mostly is, however it is not offensive. Currently, at the overall price (Rs. 300 plus Rs. 30 for a pack of 4) of around Rs. 78 per piece, it may be expensive in general, but it is competitively superior to the other genuinely all-natural laundry soaps I looked up on Amazon. Also the size is large and it doesn't disintegrate the way standard branded laundry soaps do. Once one gets used to washing clothes with these all-natural bars, the price is worth paying for the gentle and efficient effects.

Strong and weird smell. Even though i kept in cover it is giving very strong smell. Washing ability is average. Not so good.

Harsh detergents cause the skin on my hands to peel. But this biodegradable detergent is very gentle and mild on the skin while effectively cleaning the clothes. It does not have an artificially enhanced scent and that is something I prefer over harsh fragrance chemicals. . It honestly smells like an old school 'sabun ki tikki' but the clothes end up smelling fresh. Will be buying it again.
