Fantastic bit of kit with superb picture quality. The voice control on the well designed remote is a game changer and the quick buttons to access the apps i use most are an amazing feature. Simple to set up even for not so savvy people as a full detailed set up guide is available. Product can be purchased with your Amazon account already signed in for you. So it really is as simple as plug in and go.

I bought this to replace an old fire stick that I bought in 2015. It still worked, but was a bit slow. The 4K fire stick is excellent, it is responsive, no lagging, buffering etc, and has transformed our old smart tv.

Easy to set up and great picture

It does all it should do, except for one thing. It will not control my Panasonic smart tv for volume and on/off, despite multiple attempts following numerous guidelines. I think Amazon need to own this problem as so many people are reporting the same thing. I also have an identical firestick bought last year, that worked fine on my old bedroom tv. I had to replace the tv recently for a Toshiba smart tv. According to the set up it controls the tv functions. Volume works fine, but turning the tv on does not- it only works once after resetting. Maybe the fault is with the fire sticks and not the TVs. Otherwise it works well.

This solved a problem I had with my 6 year old Samsung TV. I got a new router and my old tv wasn’t picking up the wifi frequency of 5 GHz, router settings didn’t work either. It was either buy a new tv or try this Fire stick. It absolutely worked and not only that, connects really well to the router and has great signal. Remote is easy to use even for grandma as it has the streaming platform buttons and fairly simple. It also has the voice function for grandma to find a show easily. Totally worth it!

2nd buy after my old one bent on the hdmi port after about 3 years, this one included an adapter which will make that outcome far less likely. Great quality at a great price, excellent for making a non smart tv more useful.

I recently upgraded from my old Amazon Fire Stick 4K to the new Fire Stick 4K Plus, and I’m really impressed with the upgrade. The picture quality is excellent and the image clarity is brilliant everything looks much sharper, smoother, and more vibrant when streaming movies and TV shows. The device is much faster and more responsive than my previous Fire Stick. Apps open very quickly, switching between apps is smooth, and the overall responsiveness is excellent. I’ve also noticed far less buffering while streaming, which makes watching content much more enjoyable without interruptions. There are plenty of popular apps available to download, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, and many more, so it’s great having all entertainment in one place. The setup was incredibly easy and only took around two minutes just connect it to your Amazon account and it’s ready to go. It also includes the Alexa voice option on the remote, which is a useful feature, although I haven’t used it yet as I don’t currently have a subscription for it. Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade and would definitely recommend the Fire Stick 4K Plus to anyone wanting a faster streaming device with excellent picture quality, smooth performance, and great app support.

It’s excellent, so easy to install and call up programmes to stream, and order from Amazon via ALEXA.
