My system did work at all. I was told by Vonage that the router was not registered with them. Total waste of time and money. Went to VOIP.com. Needed some assist, but no subscription, great support and only 1 penny per minute anywhere in the world except Syria and Iran!

Does this work with Vonage Business?

My problem was that the device I received was from an account that had defaulted from Vonage. So it would never work. Ever! I have been with Vonage for 8 years so I called them. They sent me a free one. Amazon refunded my money. So no foul in the long run. I would check with Vonage directly whether it works with the service you need

What's the difference between vonage vdv22-vd and vonage vdv23-vd?

My understanding is the functionality is essentially the same, but the 23 separates the line 1 and line 2 ports, whereas the 22 can use a single cable to go to a two-line phone. If you are only using one phone line, or the second line is going to a different device (i.e., fax) there is no practical difference.

Can I use it as an upgrade (replacement) for my current box or does it have to be a new activation (new account) ?
