Super Lube Multi-Purpose Grease 0.5 Oz. Translucent white color

I originally bought this because of a recommendation to use it when refurbing vintage Mac floppy drives. It was a bit more expensive than 3-in-1 oil or another non-synthetic lube but the performance and ability to use a minimal amount made it well worth it. You don't want much lube at all in the drive as it could get on a disk and creates an area to collect dust. I used very little so I tried it on my lawn mower linkage and it worked great there too. Amazingly it didn't' get full of dust and clippings. I'm not sure why, whether being synthetic matter but it is nice. So I used a good squirt of it on. my paddle boat pedals which are always getting wet and again, amazingly it hasn't washed off at all and the action is perfect. The best part - even after looking for other stuff to lube around the house I still have more than enough for my original reason for buying it! I highly recommend it and am sure that it will perform just as well for others uses as well.

I have a Bionaire tower fan that suddenly stopped blowing air, so I disassembled it, opened the motor housing, cleaned out all the dust, dirt and pet hair that had collected in and around all the mechanical parts, and in the process I ended up having to remove all the manufacturer's thick mechanical grease that allows the mechanical parts to rotate and spin properly. I've never had to replace grease in a tower fan or device that needs to have multiple components constantly rotating at high speeds before, so I had no idea what type of grease I needed that would keep everything lubricate properly without getting all gunked up or not lasting long enough to keep the fan functioning through at least a few more Arizona summers. And since I wasn't sure what type of grease would work best I didn't want to spend a bunch of money only to opening it and find out it wasn't the grease I needed. This seemed like the right type of grease and because the price was right and it comes in a small enough tube that I wouldn't be too disappointed if it didn't work out, so I decided to give it shot. This ended up working great, my fan works like it's brand new again. Just in time for the hottest, longest stretch of summer.

Krytox is obviously the go to for switches but I love mixing this with Super Lube Oil (51010) at 50-75% grease to 25-50% oil depending on the switch. On the higher end it's closer to the consistency of 205g0 but I like being able to add more oil to thin it out for certain switches with tight tolerances that can get sluggish/slow with thicker lube. You can also tune the sound depending on your mix. At 100% it's too thick for switches but it's great for stabilizers. I used a microgram scale to get the exact ratios. Mix with the oil well and you won't get any separation issues. You get nearly 10x the the lube compared to Krytox for the same price (grease + lube).

I had to take apart our laundry dryer to replace a part. While I had access to all the moving parts, I thought it would be a good idea to lubricate them. I learned that, because dryer's inner workings can get very hot, you're not supposed to use lubricants that are flammable (like WD-40). I had to look for something that could stand up to high temperatures and found this. It worked well. The only thing I wish it had was more volume. The tube is kind of small, but then again, it didn't take much to lubricate all the parts. I would recommend it.

Super Lube is a great synthetic grease that can be used for many purposes. The product claims to extend equipment life and protect tools and accessories from wear, rust and corrosion. This patented formula will outlast petroleum-based grease and keep your equipment in top condition longer. I have used it on everything from our 3D printer to tools and the battery terminal on my vehicle. This lube is dielectric (safe for use with electrical), waterproof and it is a kosher certified food grade grease.

The Super Lube Synthetic Grease is one of the most versatile mechanical lubricants that I have used, but I normally can only find it at local home centers and hardware stores in the large tube sizes. It has the consistency of a general-purpose grease, but this grease has a very wide working-temperature range, doesn't run or separate, and doesn't harden over time, problems I've had with many other grease-type lubricants I have used. I first began using this lubricant some years ago on salt-water boating applications, and found it to be quite satisfactory. Later, I began to substitute it around the home in traditional white-grease applications, such as garage door opener and guide roller applications. It's lubricity seems to last longer and it seems to have better lubrication properties than traditional white grease, and this grease is clear in color so it doesn't look as messy or discolor over time. Now, in these small-tube sizes, I also find it more useful for hobby and small mechanism applications (model trains, fishing reels, hand-tools, etc.) where the small nozzle makes it easier to apply it in tight spaces. Overall, a very good grease.

The product is great. But I ordered this on 12/30/2024 I finally received it on 03/04/2025.

Great lube, does the job perfectly for my 3d printer. Small size but you only need the tiniest of dabs.

The packaging seem original so no reason to say otherwise, The item arrived undamaged and unopened. I hope they stock locally for faster delivery.
