I will admit that I wish I had gone with the large size. went with he dimensions comparing to his old bed, and this could have stood to be about another 2 inches, but he doesn't seem to mind. We put the bed in crate at night and put bed out by window during the day. Since we got this bed, she no longer jumps onto the forbidden couch. Was not the reason we got it, but staying off the couch cause she now has the most comfy bed was a nice bonus.
