Simply the best
Oranjeboom beer is just superb. The 8.6 is beautiful, perfect strength and taste. I understand they do a 16% version, if I can find it gotta try one of them bad boys..

A drop of the strong stuff!
Since Carlsberg downsized their Special Brew from 8.5% to 7, why did they do that? I thought-as someone who enjoys a strong beer-I'd try Oraneboom Black Label. An 8.5% brew and by heck it tastes great! Smooth, and like drinking toffee in a glass. By ordering a case of 24 it worked out at £2.00 a can for me so not too expensive for a strong beer which in the UK is taxed on strength.

Basic strong lager
Chill it and the taste is OK but there's nothing special about it and I found it very similar to a "Strong" Belgian beer - in a black can, also 8.5% ABV, that I previously bought off Amazon. Decent bang per buck, though, if that's what you want.

mouthwatering!!!
After drinking Special Brew, this was recommended to me. Now that I've drunk this, I would never go back to Special Brew. It's flavour is absolutely amazing, and if it not for its 8.5% strength, could easily drink 4-5 cans in one go! (2 is enough for me!) Such a shame this is sold more commercially in supermarkets and off licences!

Not bad, not bad at all! A reasonable taste and it goes down well, and it certainly gets you drunk, its 8.5% that's for sure. Have been drinking the other super strength lagers since they toned down the brew, ( Special Brew ), which was my fav. Glad I've found this one, will use it from now on along with the others I drink, ( a Brit special lager, 9% ABV, I'm sure everyone who drinks these type of special lagers will know which one I mean ). Recommended, four and a half stars out of five.
