I purchased these Lingonberries to serve with Swedish Meatballs, as this is the traditional way to serve Swedish meatballs, and I wanted to try them the traditional way. I have only ever had Lingonberry "jam" (by U.S. definitions this would qualify more as a "preserve," as it includes the whole berries) at IHOP on their Swedish crepes, which used to be part of their International Pancakes menu (I *MISS* those crepes!), so am probably not a great judge, but these were as expected - a bit tart, a bit sweet, and lovely berries in the mix. So I'm quite happy with the jam. I would just caution buyers, and appeal to the seller - these came wrapped (tightly, admittedly) in nothing but a single USPS priority mail bubble envelope. Since I purchased another item with this one, Amazon did actually put that bubble wrapped envelope inside a box with the other item, which was likely why I was so lucky, but I'm not sure that the results would have been good had the package come only in the USPS bubble envelope. Given the number of reviews I've seen showing broken jars and the way this was packaged, I feel lucky that mine arrived with no damage. This is a very dangerous way to ship a product in a glass jar. I would recommend to the seller that they consider either wrapping it in a second layer of bubble wrap, or even better, wrap it in bubble wrap and then put it into a box with some type of filling. Yes, I know this is a bit more wasteful (if the buyer doesn't reuse, repurpose or recycle the packaging) but it's JAM in a GLASS JAR. No wonder so many folks are reporting broken glass and unusable products. :( {ETC: product did come packed in a box with another purchase.}

I was introduced to lingonberries on a visit many years ago to visit some Swedish friends just north of Stockholm. People there put lingonberry sauce on just about everything and every meal. They buy it in half-gallon tubs. It's not a "delicacy" there but a staple condiment. When I used to live near an Ikea, I bought their Sylt lingonberries at about five bucks, but lacking that opportunity this is a decent alternative. If I do find lingonberries in a local grocery store, the price is even higher than this one. This Felix brand is one of the best lingonberry sauces I've found in North America. Otherwise, lingonberries are fairly scarce on this side of the Atlantic.

I make Swedish crepes with these all the time. They're my go-to. 10/10
