I’ve had this file for 7 years. It has worked great. It’s a powerful file and is sturdy. You can wash it with warm soapy water and it maintains the level of sharpness for a long time. It’s finally gotten to the point where I need to replace it because it’s gotten a little dull from a lot of use. It still works, but it takes more time and effort to remove the dead skin than it used to. I’m happy that it’s still available. I was worried it might not be because I got it so long ago. I highly recommend this! It’s way better than any foot file I’ve gotten in any store. Before this file I used one of those old school “cheese grater” style files because it was the only thing that would get enough dead skin off, but I also had instances where I filed a little too hard and cut myself. This is the closest thing I’ve found to that level of effectiveness at removing dead skin but without the risk of potentially cutting/hurting myself.

Okay so I've been dealing with dry feet my whole life...since the 80's when the only remedy they had for me was some powder to shake in my shoes that never worked. Long story short...I've tried everything! I mean, decades of EVERYTHING!!! This is by far the best tool I've found. It works as promised without being as harsh as some of the other metal foot files. Before this find, I was using the electric foot file, but this far surpasses that! I highly recommend!!!

An interesting metal finish that seems to be more gentle in removing scaley skin. It does its job very well.

Best callus remover I've used; comfortable and secure to hold while using, and VERY efficient. Actually love it but giving it 4 stars because the effectiveness only lasted about 6 months. Pretty pricey for that short a life span only using it maybe every 7-10 days.

AWESOME!!! I had some SERIOUSLY cracked heels with big pieces of jagged skin sticking up. My heels were so bad from wearing these sandals and walking around barefoot. I couldn’t believe what my feet looked like on the bottom. Oh my God! I could not get them to heal for anything. I bought a Dremel and that didn’t even help. It was actually too harsh. I bought this based on some reviews and I’m glad I did. Oh my gosh! Like the first time I use this it actually really really helped. So I used it two more times and I no longer have cracked heels. No more painful, jagged edges of skin catching on the carpet. No more bleeding. I have nice feet, but I can’t believe how bad they got from wearing this one pair of sandals all summer. Oh my gosh. I had this problem years ago when I was in junior high with a certain pair of boots that the insoles had worn off. They made my heels get really bad deep cracks. The kind that like never go away. It doesn’t take much to get my heels to crack. I’ve really sensitive skin. This thing really works. I’m glad I bought it. I just keep using it every couple of days and my heels are nice now. Really smooth. Put some lotion on my feet and they look great. I should’ve done before and after photos.

This is the best callus remover I have ever used. It was recommended by family in Australia and it has done what no other remover ever has. Nice soft feet now. I use it dry or on the shower.

I've used several files for my feet. They're not really problematic, I just like them soft. This is easily the best file I've ever used. If you want soft feet with a file that's equally gentle and does the job, this is the one!

Have had this file since 2023 and was using it the other day and thought to myself, "this is probably the best thing I've ever bought on Amazon, I should really leave a review"... so here it is :) I use the file constantly. I'm an ultra marathon runner and my feet get badly calloused and cracked during the running season. But this thing keeps my feet healthy and soft. Rough side really eats through hard skin like butter. Then use the mild side to smooth everything out. Excellent! Handle is comfortable, and it's super easy to clean. 2 years of use and it's just as good as the day I bought it. As others have mentioned, the rough side is seriously effective so be careful.
