The items were delivered as expected. The packing was not good. The RAM sticks in their plastic casings were simply placed inside a cover without bubble wraps. On unpacking, noticed that one of the RAM sticks had a pretty discolored board and was in yellowish shade rather than green. Once installed, the system had easily detected the RAM modules and memory was displayed as 8GB. Now the sad part. A check using the CPU-Z and HWInfo software has revealed the true identity. Even though the RAM sticks had fresh Samsung labels, the check revealed that the discolored stick was of Kingston make and year of Mfg is 2009. The second stick was made my Samsung but Mfg year was 2013. Surprisingly, the seal on each RAM package displayed the Year of import as 2019. So it is quite evident that these are used junk which were freshly labelled and repacked by someone. Immediately raised for return/replacement. Now, Amazon has initiated a refund. So beware. ### ⭐ No performance improvements after upgrade *by R***H on Reviewed in India on 9 October 2020* When I upgrade my iMac (early 2009) from its original 2GB RAMs with these Samsung 4GB, there is absolutely 0.000% no change in either boot up time nor the launching the applications. I used timer and tried in many different ways that at least it showing some kind of performance like opening a Photoshop and MS-office apps and other apps but strangely it shows 0 performance improvements. Even though system details showing as 8GB, upgrading doesn't make any sense with these Samsung RAMs.Earlier I order RAMs imported from another source (do not want to mention the name and other people treat me like I am marketing here) and those were improved the performance and works really well but after a year it got an issue and stopped working. So I had to look for alternate online portals exclusive for RAMs and found this link. By looking at the brand name "Samsung", I believed at least these solve my troubles of slow booting and faster application launching.
