## Description

Behringer NR300 Ultimate Noise Reduction Effects Pedal Black and Silver : desertcart.in: Musical Instruments

Review: Great noise-cancelling pedal - A noise pedal cuts the background hum, but of course it will also cut off a little sustain from your notes. This pedal does a great job. One can customise the threshold, which is the minimum volume for the signal to pass through. A medium setting works fine for me. At a low threshold a little hum is transmitted, while at a high threshold nothing goes through until you really play loud! Just what one would expect. The other control is the decay - with a high setting, the notes sustain but then a little hum creeps in towards the end. With a low setting the sustain is killed. I like a high setting for lead guitar solos and a low-ish setting for chords particularly when playing clean. One more great feature is that if you set the switch to "mute" then a press of the pedal will completely mute your guitar. Another press, and the pedal works in noise-cancelling mode. In the other position of the switch (called "reduction"), one press of the pedal gives you bypass mode and another puts you in noise-cancelling mode. So actually there is noise-reduction in both switch positions, but the pedal press works differently. This pedal also has the Send/Return feature, so you can put other pedals like overdrive into a loop with it rather than in series. In short, this is an excellent pedal at an excellent price.
Review: Packing - The packaging gave me a mini heart attack. There was no layer to protect the pedal. After playing the thing the worry went away. Pedal performs great in its price value. The seller has to put more effort for packing the equipment safely.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How is this to be used with Compressor and Overdrive pedals before the amp?**
A: To use this noise reducer with the overdrive and a compressor before the amp you will connect the aformentioned pedals to the noise reducer loop from the send output..so send from nr..to either com or od (whichever u choose first)then to next pedal then to the return of the nr then connect from the output of the nr to the input of your amp.Connect guitar to the input of the nr.So the od and com is in the nr's effects loop.

**Q: There are too many negative reviews here for me to buy one of these. Question is, Who DOES make a noise suppressor that works and doesn't cost >$70?**
A: I got the Dinner. It really seems to work well and dosent muddy my signal

**Q: I have an 80's fender tube amp that produces an obnoxious buzz with NO guitar plugged into it. Will this help if I add it via the effects loop?**
A: Maybe...and maybe not. My 70 ' s Bass man and Deluxe reverb generate the usual tube amp hiss and a little 60 cycle hum if really cranked but nothing going like what you describe. Your noise could be coming from some shady capacitors or somewhere other than the output section where a noise gate can be helpful. I'd get my amp checked out first.

**Q: Whats the polarity of this pedal. Center pin neg?**
A: yes
