Amazing! The best vanilla ever!

This gave my buttercream frosting a slight cinnamon taste. Not sure if Mexican vanilla is different from the American versions but it definitely changed the taste of my frosting. I had 2 different people comment on the taste so I don't think I'm wrong. It is usable in other recipes so I will keep it for those. Just won't use it for buttercream frosting.

Let me save some of you from yourselves before you leave another “this doesn’t taste like vanilla extract” review 🙄 Correct. It doesn’t. Because it’s NOT the same thing. This is Mexican vanilla — made differently, from a different crop, in a different country Also it is ALCOHOL FREE. Expecting it to taste like standard grocery store vanilla (which is mostly alcohol-forward) is like biting into a Macintosh apple and getting mad it doesn’t taste like a Granny Smith. That’s not how food works. This vanilla has a warm vanilla, smooth, almost buttery flavor with a subtle coconut note that is honestly incredible if you actually understand what you’re using. It’s softer, rounder, and way less harsh than typical extract. I’ve been using this for YEARS. I put it in everything, especially fresh squeezed lemonade (trust me on that one). It elevates flavors instead of punching you in the face with alcohol. Also, a little goes a long way. This isn’t a “dump a bunch in and hope for the best” situation. Start small, taste, adjust like a normal person. If you’re buying this expecting it to be identical to standard vanilla grocery store alcohol extract, that’s on you, not the product. If you’re buying it to try something different, richer, and honestly better in a lot of applications? You’re gonna love it. Some of these reviews aren’t the product’s fault… they’re a reading comprehension issue.

You won't believe it but I use it for biting flies. Yes it works. You put it in a spray bottle full strength and it deters biting flies from humans and animals naturally. Great value.
