Turns out it's not real wool, I took a lighter to it and it MELTED. Wool doesn't melt, this is some sort of plastic fiber. It’s incredibly soft, but keep in mind that as roving wool is not plied, it can come apart easily. I do recommend felting it as this is a great way to prevent this from happening. I ordered the light grey, and the shade is simply lovely. With the help of a few YouTube tutorials, I learned how to arm knit with this yarn easily and made the blanket featured with 4.4 pounds.The yarn can also be used on jumbo-sized needles as well - size 50, 70, and 150 are all ideal.
