9 January 2019 update: In September last year I bought two more of these. The black one for me and red one for my friend. The quality of bounding was improved. I see that the design inside was made a bit better. Looks like in March 2019 when the black one will finish I will buy again. I like it because there are all features exactly that are needed for planning. I don't like when somebody tries to put their own psychology or methodology into the planner. I think the planner is needed to PLAN things but for trying to be your psychologist. This Lion planner is perfect for planning! Definitely recommend! 16 April 2018 (the review after 1 month of usage) Hi there! I wanna share with you my success story in regards to the Lion Planner. I am using my LP for more than a month now. LP = LION PLANNER, I decided to call it 'LP' for myself. It helps me so much in my every day activities! I feel now more organized and I get more tasks done per day and per week now. Here is the trick. If you got a planner, you have to USE it. You can change your live for the better by managing your time when you use the planner correctly. But you got to USE the planner every day. Sometimes it gets a bit boring - to open the note book and write something there. This Lion Planner is so cool that it is kind of like a pleasure moment when I open it. That is why I have it always with me. Additionally to my everyday tasks and things needed to get done I write my cool thoughts and ideas there right after I got them. For more fun I call it Lion's Thoughts. ;D ;D ;D Then these cool ideas become a tasks and then they are done!! ))) If you get more Dones, it gives you more free time and money and it makes you happy! This is one of my main principle for successful life "MORE DONES => MORE TIME & MORE MONEY. MORE HAPPINESS!" So I can tell you now, my last month was very successful. I managed to 2X my income and got couple of more big wins in the important areas of my life. I am sure one of the main reason is that I use this planner every day. Also I just love the design of the LP and the hard cover is wrapped with some soft Eco friendly leather so it is very pleasant to hold it in hands. I would say I feel "homy" when I hold it. ))) The name itself creates some kinda atmosphere of ACHIEVING OF YOUR GOALs. Well the LION associates with the STRONGEST. :) Anyways I am so excited to have this planner and use it everyday so I just decided to make some pictures with my notes and share it with the seller and with everybody who is looking for a good, simple but efficient and real deal planner! Wish you all the best! 11 March 2018 Most important plus point for me — there are 2 pages for each day with plenty of space to do all of my writings, drawings, planning etc. It also has weekly and monthly layouts and its perfect for me. I do not usually do monthly planning, but I always do weekly and daily "battle plans". 24-hour schedule is such a cool idea! Sometimes I work overnights and I can plan my nights as well. Small enough to be portable and large enough to be functional. I could definitely recommend it and I will buy again.

I really like this planner! I have used it off and on for 7-8 months now. My previous planner was Michael Hyatt's Full Focus Planner (FFP), which is definitely top-notch in my view, and undoubtedly a leader in the field. So essentially, I'll be comparing the two here. Long story short: the Lion Planner is a durable, high-quality planner that checks most of my boxes, and it gets the job done very well, and for double the time frame at half the price! PROS: -Soft, durable cover that feels great to the touch (FFP cover is cloth-like, but also very nice) -3 ribbons, for quick access to month view, weekly planning, and daily planning (FFP has 2 ribbons, but set up is different - each weekly plan comes directly before the daily pages of that week) -This is a personal preference, but I like the separate monthly, weekly, and daily sections in the Lion Planner. -Lion Planner is for a full SIX months at a time - love this! (FFP is for 3 months at a time) -I really like how the Notes/Ideas section is bulleted (like a bullet journal), instead of lined -Small envelope in the back for holding loose papers is easy to access and see that something is there. -Not only do you have to write in the date each day, you also have to circle the DAY of the week. (In the FFP, the days of the week are pre-printed.) At first I counted this a CON and not a PRO, since it requires a bit more work that does add up, particularly when working ahead. However, I quickly realized that it adds to the planner's value (for me, anyway), in the sense that if I get behind and miss a day of planning here or there, I can skip that day altogether, and the pages are not wasted! -GREAT VALUE! This is the biggie for me. A six-month planner for half the cost of the 3-month planner I was previously using. AND, at the time of my purchase, a BOGO deal going on! (And yes, they really did send the free one!) CONS: -The pages of the planner are not as thick or as high-quality as the FFP, but there is still NO significant bleed-through, and the thinness helps to allow for 6 months instead of 3. (So not a significant con.) -There are a few open pages for writing down 1-year and 5-year goals at the beginning, and a section for noting weekly and daily goals, but the goal planning piece is not NEARLY as developed as in the FFP. (Again, this is not a significant con, really only just a different focus between the two planners.) -Pages aren't numbered, so I can't make an index in the back of the planner to refer back to as easily (FFP does have numbered pages.) -This is probably the biggest con for me. The daily schedule is for 24 hours, which may definitely be a pro for some (and I initially thought would be for me). But because of this, I lose the 30-min dividers for most of the hours. There are only 30-min slots for the hours of 9-12. My preference would be 30-min slots from like 8-5, but I recognize that space is a limitation. (The FFP schedule only goes from 5a-9p, but has 30-min slots all the way through. It also is a larger book...about an inch taller.) As a side note that is neither here nor there, I do use the daily sections just a little bit differently than intended. I use the DAY REVIEW/ACCOMPLISHMENTS section as a space for daily gratitude notes; I use the MY GOALS section for prayer notes/Scripture/meditation notes, and TOP PRIORITY FOR THE DAY section to note my goals for the day. In other words, it's customizable! All in all, a great planner at a great price that I think I will continue to use and purchase!

Bought this after a painfully long search and comparisons with other popular planners. This one's a clear winner. Those complaining about having to write dates and such - read the description, it's crystal clear. Don't buy it if you want to have dates printed for you! The description also lists how many pages you get for each type and how they are arranged. Again, read the details before buying and spend a couple minutes to think about what you are actually looking for in a planner. You will be doing the actual planning, this is a place to put your thoughts and plans down in a clear fashion. If you are not good at planning or are averse to learning how to plan, the planner won't work (no other planner will work either!) - it's that simple. The planner won't magically turn you into a different person, so think about what exactly you want before buying. I've realized that the distribution of these pages can change very slightly with each new edition, here's the breakdown from October/20: There are 4 new pages - mind map, vision board, bill tracker, 1 dotted blank page. It has 26 weeks and not 27 (so 52 pages, not 54), 137x2=274 pages for daily and not 280 as it said when I bought it. You will likely have a slightly different breakdown in the next edition, but it's really not a big deal. With 24 hr slots, this planner gives you a lot of flexibility. Doesn't shame you for being a natural night owl. You can also use it to track things in different time zones (WFH anyone?). I like that it is undated. You don't feel pressured to write every single day and can use more than one page for a particularly busy day. I've tried other formats with slots for daily quotes and affirmations - some days it feels like a lot, especially during this pandemic. This planner is pretty simple in its layout - write an affirmation if you feel like it, or don't. There's enough blank space for your creativity and expression, should you be so inclined. Customer service is fantastic. I messaged them to ask if there was a way to disinfect it after delivery, got a prompt response within hours telling me that alcohol wipes work well. I tried it and it works, no damage to the planner - I've cleaned it at least 8 times since then. I've had it for about 3 months now, very durable cover and binding. Love the paper quality. Normal gel pens and some others show no bleed - I've tried cheap bic, Pilot G2 0.7, Pentel Energel assorted colors, Frixion pens and highlighters, yellow bic highlighter. Sharpies will bleed through and I think cheap green/blue highlighters will bleed a bit as well, but Zebra Clickart pens don't. (Btw, unless your paper is made out of plastic or is heavyweight card stock, there will be ink bleed!) The color of the cover and the texture is aesthetically pleasing. The ribbon colors complement the cover. A few tips and tricks - If a particular week is not that busy, I turn the weekly page into scheduler for daily appointments and such. During regular weeks, you can use it to plan meals, list chores, etc. Sometimes I break the daily page into two parts for two days. Dividing 24 hr slots into two 12 hr slots. With all my bills on autopay, I don't need the 12 month bill tracker. I turned it into a 6 month habit tracker instead. Stuck an Avery label on the printed stuff, easy peasy. The three ribbons are awesome - I keep one each in monthly, weekly, daily. You can add extra tabs, post-its as needed. The planner is pretty solid and will hold them all no problem. If you are new to planners, this is probably the optimal size. Couple suggestions for future editions - Bill tracker and contact list are probably the things nobody uses at this point. Replace them with things like - habit tracker, recurring task list (weekly, biweekly, monthly - e.g. replace water filter on xx day), blank pages for notes. I notice that the price has gone up quite a bit in the last three months - +$3 for this planner, +$10 for the A4 planner and +$1 for the weekly one. I still think the planner is way better than the others for the people who need this kind of flexibility. People might be more inclined to buy it if the seller could throw in some stickers or stencils.

Great planner. Im excited for it. Only one issue, it only has 6 monthly calendars. Plenty of daily and weekly planning and notes. Even goals for each and the year. But only 6 calendars. But as a whole a badass planner.

This review is long overdue! ***Warning Essay ahead*** Honestly, I don't even remember how I came across Lion Planner but I'm glad I did! I'm a real estate agent and I have specific needs in a planner that I just can't get in most that are on the market. If it's not one thing it's another. There are a few planners now being made just for my Realtors but they cost SOOOO Much MOney! I just can't bring myself to buy a planner that is over $50.00 before shipping and only covers 6 months...and they're so big! Anyway, after I found Lion Planner I went to YouTube (like most of us) and checked out what others had to say (as well as other planners) and see which style might work best for me. The videos were very helpful and I purchased the Pro Daily version. So what do I love so much about it? Short answer, Everything but if you want details keep reading. #1 - The price is perfect! This same planner somewhere else would at least twice as much, I know cause I've looked for the last several years #2 - The quality of the product surprised me in a good way. It is very well made. The one I have provides flexibility without feeling flimsy or cheap. I like the 3 tassels so I can save my location in the appropriate Month, Week and Day. #3 - continuing with the topic of quality, the pages feel really nice and the pens I purchased (Pilot Frixion erasable pens) don't bleed through and provides a nice glide. I have both the red and blue planners and the colors are beautiful just the right shade and saturation. I was worried at first the red one would be too bright and harsh but it was not. It's a true red, not marron but it's not too much on your eyes. #4 - I love that on the daily section you have boxes to write down what is Important, Insignificant, what is your Top Priority for the Day, your Goals then your actual Hourly Schedule broken down per hour with a line in the middle so technically you can break it down every 30 mins. which is how I prefer to set my day. This structure allows me to really see what should get done today and helps me not to get caught up in being busy instead of being productive. As long as my Top priority for the day and what's Important was meet I can peace that it was a good day! #5 - week in review is great as well and I put my gratitude section there as well. Really there is so much about this planner that works for me in my real estate career and life overall. It has definitely made sure the day is productive and keeps it my goals top of mind since they are also broken down on your weekly and daily sections. #6 - The planner is larger enough for me to write in and small enough for me to carry in my work bag without being in the way. I will be a repeat customer for Lion Planner and I love showing it off to other Realtors in my field, they are all impressed as well. If I had to give a "con" because nothing can be 100% perfect is that according to a video I saw I thought the inside would be a followed: 1 Month, 7 days, week in review then repeat. Instead, it is ALL the months upfront, 1 week in review, 7 days, 1 week in review, 7 days, repeat. At first, I was a little disappointed in the layout but I got over it. Everything else is great it's not that big a deal. Again you have your tassels to keep track of where you are. Anyway, I hope this helps someone who may be on the fence. I'm not getting paid for this. This is my personal honest review. I highly recommend this planner!

I've been eyeballing this planner for awhile now after comparing it against every other i could find here on Amazon. What i like most about it is its simplicity. The fact that you have your Month to Month in the front followed by your Week to Week then your Dailies. There are 3 nice tassels: a Blue one for your Month, a Black one for your Week, and a Gray one for your current Day. The Month layout is... well.. a Month layout. The week layout is on both left and right sides of the page- which is nice one, because at a glance you can see everything you need to do for the week, and two there is plenty of space to write. There are enough lines to jot down the important things but not too many lines where you get lost in too many words (or at least i have that problem). It keeps you focused. The daily layout is perfect for me. On the upper left hand corner you have a few lines to write "My Goals" for the Day. Underneath that you have "Top Priority for the Day" with a few lines there that takes your Goals and focuses it even more to one Important activity or task that has to get done or you really want to get done. Below the Priority for the Day you have plenty of space under "Notes/Ideas" which I especially use since i'm never staying within the lines as i change my font size constantly to emphasize important Thoughts or Ideas. And finally on the Right side of the page, You have a Full 24 hour by hour Column. I work Grave yards, so this is really important to me as i'm sometimes having activities to do in the middle of the night. One point of note is that the creators made the 9 -12 o'clock hours double lined as this is typical for most to do more things in this time frame. Lastly, and for me it's a Huge bonus, on the Right side of your hour to hour you have a full top to bottom Column for Tasks. An area to check-off those things you did get done and others that might rollover to the next day. Overall, a nice planner that gives you enuf structure to focus you, but not too much to confine you within parameters. Oh, and there are No Dates anywhere- you write them in. So if your looking for pre-printed dates, this planner doesn't provide it. A feature i like. Also, its only a 6-Month Planner. With as much space as it gives you- it has to be. I'm using a Black one from January to June and a Blue one for July through December. Hope this helps.

The planner is well built with good materials. The binding isn't the best, some pages are a bit loose. The layout is not how I would have liked it. The months are all together. Then the weeks are all together, and lastly the days are all together. I would have preferred the weeks and days to follow each monthly page rather than having to go to three different sections of the planner to use it. The mind map and vision board are only two pages or so. The bill tracker is too small. The areas to write in are small as well. I purchased the smaller planner, so that was partly expected. Overall, it is a ok planner. It just doesn't work or me.

I do not often write review of things that I purchase unless I find a distinct and well deserving product that moves my energy in a way that inspires me to share it with the world. This planner excites me in such a way and is a winner in my opinion no matter how you size it up. I initially purchased (2) of the small versions of this planner because of the portability and compact nature of Its size which is the 8 inch by 6 inch version. The other size they offer is the larger 8.5 X 11 inch "PRO VERSION". It offers the a single page 24 hr. schedule along with a larger layout for additional entries such as: Notes/Ideas, My Goals, Primary Objectives, Secondary Objectives, Top Priorities For The Day, and Day Review/ Accomplishments. There are other features that are include in this planner. Check them out for yourself in the sellers formal description on their Amazon Listing. My photo are presented here to help you figure out which scale in size best fit your purpose. The small version 8X 6 inch has a similar layout but is broken down into two adjacent pages. The quality of the binding on either version of these planners are of 5 star quality. I have found the quality of the binding to rival that of a hard cover best selling novel found in a premium bookstore. The finish of the covers are made of a faux leather. The Lion emblem is embossed and has a quality feel and look of smooth leather. Make no mistake about it, I looks impressive laying on my desk; and exudes the persona of being an Apex leader that is definitely in control of my time. There are other nuance's which I find amazing about this planner, but to keep this review short, I will outline what I think will help you the most. The PRO version lays flat on the table from beginning to the end. This has to do with the high quality binding that I mentioned above. The small version needs a book marker once you get to the mid section; however the small version comes with ( 3) silk book marker colored Black, Blue, and Grey to assist you in quickly locating where your are. The Pro version has silk book marker ribbons also. This may be a factor for you if are a highly meticulous and detailed person with your writing skills. The Pro version has generous space for writing notes and Ideas . The pages are made with quality paper and does not bleed through when using a fine point "Sharpie" pen. There are grey scale graticules in the note/ ideas section that assist in sketching or keeping your hand written notes aligned and organized. I love the quality and features of both version. To summarize my opinion: If you like space when you're writing or planning - Get the Pro Version - If you are constantly adding and subtracting to your daily schedule and need to throw it in a book bag or Purse go with the small version. You cant loose people. Both version of this planner are among the elite in their class. I hope that this info helps.

Amazing book. The cover is very nice quality, there are 2 page dividers so you can mark the day as well as the month pages. The paper itself is great quality and the ink from pens doesnt bleed (Gel, ball point, or fountain). The cover is very classy, simple and clean. 100% would recommend this and I will also be buying it again when its full.

Great for the people that don't use it everyday, but when you need to get s*%t done this is the tool to use.

Really like this planner, perfect for my needs. This is my second one. This is the first planner I have found that has room for appointments, notes and tasks all in a compact format.
