Gorilla Costume

Overall, this Gorilla costume is great for the price! I am 5'10" 160lbs and it fit me very relatively well but was a little baggy as might be expected. 2 recommendations: -I added velcro to the rear of the suit to help hold it together while it is on. Black velcro blends in well with the fur and helps prevent your clothes from peeking through the back of the suit where it comes together. You should be wearing dark clothes under it anyway, but this helps. -Like some other reviewers have said, you will shed wearing this suit. I wore it around for about 20 minutes before going to a party in it which helped, but it still sheds a little. Neither of these things were really worth removing a star from the review.

I can't really complain much about this costume, except with all the jumping around I did for the kids at the Halloween party it got pretty warm! The mask will make you sweat quickly...not much that can be done about that. There are other masks available that I'm sure will work well with this costume. I've seen others make note of the opening in the back...I just pt on a black T-shirt underneath and the back area wasn't much of a problem. I would like to put a zipper in later on; I see a long future for this costume! As for overall fit, I am not a large guy. I'm only 5'8", 200 lbs. It was a good fit for me with some room to spare. However, if you're taller, the arms and legs may come up a bit short on you. If you're rounder, you may still get into it, but the effort could damage the costume. If you're taller AND rounder, then you really should try something else. Just my advice.

For some reason this is my third gorilla suit and this one is by far the best quality. The mask looks great and has big enough eye and nose holes for adequate ventilation. The gloves look great with elongates fingers and allow a little dexterity. The foot covers are a nice plus and really tie the suit together. One thing to note: I'm only 5'9" and the suit is almost too short so taller folks might need to wear black socks. This suit is incredibly hot. It will keep you warm at football games in freezing weather, but if it's over 60 and you plan on wearing for an extended period of time, stay hydrated.

Used for a wedding costume party. No one could tell it was me and everyone thought it looked good. Can't use a phone with the gloves on. I'm about 6 foot tall 165 pounds and it fits well. I got it out and tried it on when it first arrived but didn't notice until I put it on for the wedding the left glove was damaged or I would have given it 5 stars. I'm wearing one layer of clothes under the costume and I'm warm in 50 degree weather. I didn't wear black socks and people noticed. It's pretty comfy but your hands will get sweaty in the gloves. There's no hole in the mouth of the mask, so if you smoke or plan on drinking or anything you may want to get a different mask. Really good costume for the 90 bucks I paid for it.

It came with a hole; I’m too lazy to return it so I used it anyway. The way the costume is made is great though, it’s super functional and easy to wear. The back isn’t as closed as I’d like it to be because it ties at the neck. The fur also sheds quite a bit so you’ll be picking up black fuzzies for days haha. It’s true to size and it gets hot and muggy sun the mask. The feet are my favorite part! They attach so nicely to your shoes.

I'm 5'7 and the suit was very large on me but thankfully the nature of the costume doesn't require a tight fit to look good. For the price this is the way to go. I tried finding individual gloves and a mask and chest piece etc etc but it never would have looked as complete as this kit does. The quality of the mask and gloves are great and the feet stay on pretty well when walking around. My only real complaint is how much this thing sheds! I used a lint roller on it at least 20 times to prevent hair from flying all over the room when I walked but I still find pieces here and there.

Itz only what.... like fiddy dollas? I dropped dat cash and got dem to express post dat shyt yo. Two dayz lata. TWO DAYZ LATA and dis guy shows up at my door. I thought it wuz da police. So I dint answer. Next day. He comes again! I put down da xbox controlla and peek out da window and I see dis guy lookin all legit n shyt. He's got da box. I start gettin real excited because ya know, shyt just got real son. I sign for da box, and don't wait one second longer and i'm tearin into that shit yo. Like a crazed lion in for da kill! Bust that box open and I see dis big, hairy monkey suit. Yeah, das right. You got your scaryazz monkey face. You got yo hairyazz monkey feet. Oh, and you got yo big knuckeled monkey hands. Im freakin out yo. All I want to do iz throw that shyt on and see what I look like. So I strip down and step inside. Yah, itz true. This shit shedz like a mofooker! They be serious here on dis amazon right? Strait tellin me what to expect yo! So I get dis monkey suit all on me, wit da feet, da hands and da funnyazz monkey face. Put dat shyt on and checked myself out in da mirror yo. I'm lookin TIGHT! Den it hitz me. All of a sudden I start smellin bananaz. I'm like what da hell iz dis. Den, I start to get itchy. Like all over. Like up in my groin n shit n under my pitz. So I start scratchin. But diz shyt iz so damn scratchy dat it starts hurtin yo. I start makin deez noizes like "Ooh Ooh Ahh Ahh" errtime I hit one o doz itchy spotz. Just jumpin around n shyt n tryin to get all the itchin gone. "Oooh Ohh Ahh AHhhh!" My cat - hiz namez Nine Mil - he getz all freaked out and hizzes at me like he don't know me. I didn't know what waz goin on. Anyway. I say any true G dat wantz to hit up da clubz on da Halloween night best be gettin himself some fineazz monkey suit like dis. Dis shyt iz da monkey bomb!

Tipp: Die Silikonelemente mit dem Fön warm machen, dann gehen die Teile in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurück. Da liegt auch ein Zettel mit dem Hinweis dabei, den hatte ich aber anfangs übersehen. Maske: + sieht auf dem Bild sehr schön aus, aber ... - War bei mir eher 4.Wahl oder so. Die rechte Maskenhälfte war irgendwie verzogen. Ich habe mir eine andere Maske bestellen müssen! - Es gibt keine Öffnung am Mund. D.h. man kann nicht mal mit Strohhalm etwas trinken und man atmet immer gegen die Maske. - Unter der Maske wird es sehr warm und schwitzig. - Die Öffnungen an den Augen sind viel zu groß. Um gut auszusehen sollte man den „ Augenbereich“ schwarz schminken. - Langes Tragen ist für mich unmöglich! Hände: + sehen sehr gut und realistisch aus. Finger sind wie beim tierischen Vorbild länger. Nur der Daumen ist wie beim Menschen kürzer. - Durch die längeren Finger ist das Greifen von Gegenständen erschwert. Z.B. ein Glas oder Flasche - Sind fast vollständig aus dickem Silikon gefertigt. Das ist wie, wenn man sich einen sehr dicken Gummihandschuh anzieht. - Sehr warm und schwitzig - Langes Tragen ist für mich unmöglich! Füße: + sehen sehr gut und realistisch aus. + nur die Zehen sind aus Silikon gefertigt und man kann mit Schuhen hineinschlüpfen. Die Solle ist offen + langes Tragen ist kein Problem für mich! Die Dinger sind echt toll. Fell bzw. Ganzkörperanzug: - Fusselt sehr stark - Super warm - Ist im Rückenbereich offen und kann nur im Schulterbereich mit zwei Schnüren zusammengebunden werden. Das ist wirklich sehr unpraktisch wenn man auf die Toilette muss. Aber ist mit Sicherheit so billiger in der Herstellung. - Keine Taschen. D.h. Geld, Tempos usw. können nicht eingesteckt werden. Gorilla mit Handtasche?! Fazit: Das Gorillakostüm ist sehr realistisch und sieht gut aus (wenn man eine Maske 1.Wahl erhält!), aber sehr unpraktisch. Weniger Realismus und mehr Pragmatismus hätte dem Kostüm gut getan. Ich würde mir das Kostüm nicht nochmal kaufen. Verbesserungsvorschläge: - Mundöffnung in der Maske und kleinere Augenlöcher - Reißverschluss vorne am Ganzkörperanzug bis in den Schritt und evtl. mit Taschen. - Stoffhandschuhe mit aufgesetzten Gorillafingern (aber an den Innenhandflächen nur Stoff).

Sinceramente pensavo di ricevere una cinesata, invece è fatto molto bene... per le piegature nella maschera basta scaldarlo come dice nelle istruzioni, poi per dargli più forma gli ho messo un po di carta dentro per tenerlo "pieno" e voilà
