It easily holds my 16 oz Hydro Flask, could hold a plastic water bottle or larger flask, and has a nice sized pocket for my phone. The shoulder strap could be a little wider and softer (like another product I tried), but truthfully it is perfectly useable as is and the strap is not irritating on my bare skin. It is also long enough for all but the tallest of people. The picture doesn't show it, but there is a flat pocket on the back for your ID and/or keys. If you use a plastic bottle, the neoprene would keep you dry when the bottle sweats.
