Marvellous book on Indian Constitution
Product of a breath taking research!! the book is an outstanding exposition of the journey of the Indian constitution since its adoption in January 1950 through the corridors of government in power, political community, establishment and the Supreme Court. Despite Austin is basically a historian..I have no words to say about his scholarship and acumen on constitutionalism.

Masterpiece
I can't think of any other book that can rival this one .. serious and painstaking in approach.. meticulous about historical facts... I hope someone can carry forward and update this work to the present day with the zeal of Austin
