It's a 3 cd collection.....the first being the best featuring Kiss artists especially Bruce Kulick on 5 songs.....Eric Singer playing drums on a few, a jammin tune by Richie Scarlet and Ace Frehley called "Johhny's in Love".....Vinnie Vincent's Demo of "Gypsy in her eyes" is a great song showing his song writing ability for melodic music with a great hook. There are different versions of the song on You Tube to show you how the different production adjustments add to the rough demo. The original demo of "Is that you" by Gerard McMahon is rockin in it's stripped down form...which many KISS fans feel like that's the way UNMASKED should have been recorded originally. Rick Derringer gets a few songs since he did some ghost work on Kiss albums..."Teenage Love Affair" and "Rock & Roll Hoochie Koo" are great tunes. Another surprise is a band called Shameless who is a German glam rock who has some great melodic rock songs featuring Bruce Kulick on guitar and Eric Singer on drums, and a song called American Man co- written by Gene Simmons. The 2nd CD is all covers of KISS songs by various artists of 14 songs, included featuring some like a rockin' version of Charisma by Dogbane, a harder rockin' version of Love gun by Mystic Force...a very interesting take on "I was made for loving you" with great vocals by Last Pharaoh. Disc 3 is an interesting disc of various different songs. Featuring songs by Alice Cooper, Sweet, Punky Meadows doing their original songs....and a few artists doing versions of New York Groove, God gave rock n' roll to you....another original version of " Then he kissed me" by The Diamonds". So all in all some very interesting listening here, and for only @ 12.00 bucks on amazon is worth checking out. Now if we can get KISS to release Kissology 4 or a new Kiss album like a newer version of ALIVE 2 with live tracks of the current band and maybe a side with original songs to go along with it....Kiss fans will be more than pleased. In the meanwhile....this set is worth getting...especially for the price.
