Batman: The Long Halloween

The best part about this comic book is its art. The art reminds me of some old school drawing with vintage colouring and the story arc have to be 11 outta10. Everything is top notch.

It's an Essential Batman Read !! Loeb and Sale have depicted a drama about the decline and fall of dynasties and monarchies. The families that defined Gotham are all tied together in blood, and it seems that they can only be separated by bloodshed. Things change and decay – particularly when people don’t play by the rules. Batman doesn’t play by the rules and it’s hinted Gordon blames (maybe that’s too strong a word) him for the state of the city at the moment. Dent himself is repeatedly shown to be indifferent to the systems and the ways that things work (suggesting the police should let the gangs wipe each other out rather than trying to stop it), and we all know what happens to him. What an Origin Story ! What a tragedy and even for the greatest dc detective it makes him cringe at the end ... & that he did not see that coming ! Theme and tone of book seems to be inspired from Mario Puzo Godfather..... Well put in Batman ... Then you get a masterpiece. Go for it :) Thanks Amazon for making it happen

Awesome story, sketchy and moody artworks which emphasizes each character in their own special way. Epic in every sense. Great packaging and on time delivery.

I have been reading Batman graphic novels recently and this book consistently appeared in top-rated Batman books. No doubt the fans regard it so highly as the graphic novel transcends you into a different world and it feels like you are watching a TV show or a movie. Christopher Nolan has also mentioned that this book was one of his influences for the Dark Knight trilogy. If you are a Batman fan or otherwise, I would highly recommend this book and its sequel 'The Dark Victory'.

An epic journey of the dark knight in the quest to find the true identity of holiday. Good artwork, awesome storytelling and an unexpected end. what more could you ask for.

A quintessential batman story. It really starts off well from the meeting of Batman and Harvey Dent and James Gordon to the very unexpected ending, especially the last 3-4 pages. You won't be disappointed and before buying please know that here you won't be seeing any super villain or any of the members of JLA. It's just Batman story and crime fighting in Gotham.
