Solid construction. Installed, May 2020, in a well with about 170 ft water table, to replace a failed Franklin motor Myers pump, on 1-1/4 in steel pipe. New pump is running like a champ!No major issues with installing. Ground wire at pump was poorly connected and new loop terminal with bigger crimp sleeve was installed. In the control box, two cable pass-through holes were little too small for US conduits but easily bored out. Non-standard wire colors but instructions were clear enough. I am very happy. Tremendous value for money if keeps running. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Control Box uses non standard holes for pwr *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2021* A significant dislike was the control box holes for pwr in and 4 wire to the pump are smaller than standard US conduit fittings. I had to enlarge the hole for using conduit. (It comes with plastic which looks like it would be used for smaller round wire). I had 30a 220v service (10-3 wg) and fitting that size wire was difficult because the space inside the box is small. Same issue with the 4 wire out to the pump. Another dislike was the wiring for the pump was not red, white, black, green. Pump wires were tagged with 4,5,6 which matched the connection numbers in the control box. My pump was 400 ft away from the control box so it was a hassle.I like the steel impellers and it appears to work well when tested outside the well after resolving control box issues. The control box includes inline breaker and power switch and is made of cast aluminum. It has a solid feel, using allen head bolts to attach the cover to the box. I included a 1 1/4 check valve on the pump as I read something about it not having a check valve. I also had two hangers for attaching pull out cable to make easier removal easier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good pump and motor.
