This product does not support Windows, as what was said the product descriptions. So this was not a surprise, but it really would be nice if they could add some form of Windows support in the future. Other similar USB based cameras that would say they are not supported by Windows do work with the basic Camera app, but not this one. Windows does install USB drivers when you plug it in, but its not recognized as a Camera. It installs two other drivers, both classified as "Other devices": com.useeplus.protocol and iAPInterface. What I do like about the actual camera is that it really does a great job with being able to focus fairly close, as they state in the product description, plus it is able to focus on objects dozens of feet away too with a very good depth of field. The quality improves overall (focus, resolution, depth of field), when there is plenty of light. The resolution is very good too. This camera is able to focus on objects that are within about 1/2 an inch, but there are always situations where it would be nice if it could focus on much closer objects when in very cramped areas. When comparing this camera to older ones I've bought, the overall quality is a remarkable improvement. This camera requires the use of their app. I generally do not like the idea of having to install another app due to risks of malware and bloat, but it works really well too. The app is simple overall, but it has some really nice features too. Some of the highlights are: * The app opens when the camera is plugged in. * Button to rotate image by 90 degree increments to get the image right-side-up instead of fighting with the cord. * Button to toggle between color and B&W. * Has a side by side viewer, where you can view the live image next to a saved image. Beneficial if you are trying to identify what may have changed, or what part you might have forgotten to put back. It only shows them side by side, but no overlays or highlights of differences between the two images. * Zoom modes: 1.0, 1.5, or 2.0 times. Does not impact focal distance. * Photos and videos are stored within the app's own directories on android, but google is able to find them and add them to their auto backup settings. As a result, within minutes of taking photos with this camera, the images may appear within google photos. * Two cameras: Forward facing and a side view. There isn't a button in the app to control which camera is active, but long pressing the button on the controller will toggle between them. * The LEDs: The brightness of the LEDs are controlled by the dial on the controller. The app does not control the LEDs. Overall the LEDs are good, but could be brighter in some situations. On shiny surfaces the glare can make it difficult to focus. The app does not have a white balance control. But the camera itself does balance the exposure so if the image washes out, it will re-balance it so you can see the details and colors within a few seconds. That is really a nice feature since the older borescope cameras were easily washed out by it's own LEDs. The LEDs on this camera are not too bright, but on shiny surfaces, they may produce a glare that obscures the details and the ability to focus. Overall, I'm very happy with this quality of this camera. There are a few things that can be improved upon, which has nothing to do with "defects" or "problems", but are potential ways to add value to this camera and open up possibilities for new uses.

I'm very pleasently surprised at how well this camera works, especially for the price. It came right up and worked perfectly on the first try; I just ran the app and plugged in the USB-C cable into my iPhone 15 Pro Max (Lighting and USB-Micro are provided). The app is bare-bones but does everything you really need, and according to the App Store it collects no data. We recently had a water leak in a bathroom and I needed to look under the sink for any mold. This unit did the trick quite nicely, providing a very useful view (no mold <whew... !>). The light is adjustable, and there's a 2X digital zoom feature which came in handy. I also used the side camera and light; it's not in the instruction leaflet they give you, but you switch cameras by pressing and holding the square switch on the line control (it's in the ad writeup on Amazon). A short press on that button takes a picture or starts/stops video. Overall it works a treat, especially for the price.

The endoscope software installed perfectly for Android. Do plug in the endoscope BEFORE running the APP for the first time as if it does not detect the authorized endoscope hardware, it will then require you to register to use it. The camera works very well and has a good fish eye lens to see well on the side camera as well. The adjustable LED light is plenty bright on both cameras to see up close or a distance of about one ft. The side camera is so much easier to see when poking in a small hole to inspect inside a small hole. I took off one star because the cable is not very rigid/stiff and bends made to orient camera in a larger hole will change as soon as the camera bumps into something.

I’ve always wanted a baroscope to look in tight places places you normally can’t see and the price on this was just so good under $20 received it and within five minutes I had the app downloaded and I was looking at ductwork looking at all the lint in my dryer with this thing I’ve looked in the furnace. I’ve looked in the condenser coil the air conditioner very simple to use good quality picture I especially like the variable intensity light at the end of the camera and the fact that you have a straight on view or 90° view it’s a push of a button And the fact that it will take pictures and videos and store them in a file. Such a great product for The at Home handyman you can look at you can look at drains you can look at anything. It’s just a very simple to use very economically priced horoscope thank you.

This is a great addition to the tool box! It takes some getting used to and you have to be patient sometimes since you cannot control the direction easily with a joystick or anything like you can with a very expensive endoscope. However, this easily connects to a variety of mobile devices, functions very well and provides you with visibility into places you would not be able to see otherwise. I used mine to get a rock out of the air duct in my truck. Howe it got in there? No clue, but it had been rattling for months and was driving me nuts. This tool helped me find it and get it out. It also helped locate a blockage in a drain pipe in the house. I highly recommend this device to anyone on the fence about it.
