Excellent item! Actually better than the shiro miso. - Great flavour. Deeper than shiro, adds a layer of umami to your recipes

Too much sodium
Good product. I liked the taste too. Only drawback is that there is too much sodium which is not healthy.

Authentic taste and good quality
Try and ignore all bad reviews for this product...I lived a few years in Japan, this is one of the most authentic miso paste you will find in India

Taste like Soy Sauce
This tasted like soy sauce. I'm not sure if thats a good thing. I was hoping for something more neutral. I did not read the ingredients properly.. Next time I'll try a different brand.

Very dissapointing taste and smell..
I was expecting something better. When I first opened the miso paste it smelled horrible.I made it and it smelled even more terrible.This was also my first purchase from urban platter....wasn't expecting this.. something is definitely wrong with the miso paste

I like this miso and was about to purchase another order. However, amazon has DOUBLED the price since I last purchased 2 years ago!!!! The low rating is for amazon pricing. The product itself is good.
