This phone tripod mount ticks all the boxes. It's well manufactured with a nice screw design making vertical/horizontal adjustments of the phone very easy. The mount is well cushioned to protect the phone exterior from scrathces. I really like how the screw mechanism opens the mount to insert the phone rather than the more common spring mechanisms in other similar mounts - the screw mechanism feels safer and more secure when taking my phone in and out of the mount. I have a large Galaxy Note 9 phone and it fits in the mount easily with room to spare. The best aspect of the design of this mount which wasn't highlighted in the other reviews that I read so came as a very welcome surprise - you can unscrew and separate the front part of the mount which also has its own screw fittings to screw onto a tripod. This front part will only allow the phone to be attached horizontally (landscape) to the tripod but is then much smaller, lighter and easier to carry in your pocket or backpack. As I wanted to take it travelling around Africa, where weight and space will be at a premium - this was a winning feature for me. A really versatile and well implemented design. Highly recommended...

This is a good phone holder, it grips my iPhone 15pro max well which is a bigger size phone. Can mount this onto a tripod or even a magic arm etc so no problem there

Not too bad for the price. Was worried this may not be big enough as I have a pixel pro with a fairly large case but this holds my phone absolutely fine! Easy to mount on a standard tripod thread. The grip is adjustable so should work with most phones!

Very happy with this item, its very sturdy and holds my phone with no problems. It's easy to attach to a standard tripod and is ideal for taking photo's with long exposures.

Perfect for the intended job.

Received this item and am very pleased with it. Very good build quality, sturdy and very easy to attach to the tripod. Various mounting screws so you can mount it vertically or horizontally. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs to mount this to a tripod or extension arm.

Perfect for what I needed. It fit and gripped my phone perfectly, in and out of its case, and was sturdy enough to not lose grip when done tight enough. However the bottom of the adapter isn't a flat surface which for my tripod meant I had a problem. On my tripod the release plate has a little peg for securing certain cameras on it so when I tightened the adapter on instead, it got stuck in the gaps underneath and I couldn't turn it to get it on or off. I was able to fix it by keeping a little square of cardboard taped over the peg to keep it down when using the adapter but that was after I'd already tried fastening it on and done a little damage to the button and the base. That's my one problem with it, otherwise it is a good product and does exactly what it needs to.

Seems to be very well made, but haven't used it yet.
