Tesseract products all utilize a unique delivery system that is patent pending.  After pilot evaluation by physicians to ensure product efficacy, each product is introduced into the Tesseract line.  Many companies that are not fielding a physician oriented line of products will purchase new, branded ingredients and introduce them into the marketplace based on an ingredient manufacturer’s absorption study with claims of better absorption.  Many of these companies with retail products have the product made by manufacturers in a finished dosage that can actually negatively affect absorption of the ingredient, leaving the finished product with an absorption pattern vastly less than the “absorption study” provided by the underlying raw material manufacturer.

At Tesseract, we believe that our products perform so well with patients, verified by physician observed results, that not only are they well received by preventive medicine physicians but also by the research community that study products aggressively in medical trials.  In late Spring of 2020, we expect to be able to announce the first major round of research, including the study of our earliest product, ProButyrate, for major GI issues by one of the world's foremost universities--at their own undertaking and expense.  The butyric acid originally contemplated for this study was replaced by ProButyrate upon review of clinical results by physicians affiliated with the university.  The better absorption and performance of ProButyrate was so dramatic that the university held the study for a year to change the active butyrate to the Tesseract product.

Tesseract is a physician oriented company.  We rely on clinical data on real patients and do not subscribe to the model of product comparison paid for by interested parties promoting an individual product.  To iterate, one would have to compare a finished product of any given company with another finished product of a different company.  Depending on the number of companies marketing “similar” products, this could entail evaluation of dozens of products.

Compounding this maze is the fact that a number of ingredients cannot be directly compared.  One such ingredient would be trying to compare TetraCumin™ by Tesseract with a regular curcumin product.  Tetrahydrocurcumin, the ingredient placed in the CyLoc trap by Tesseract cannot be compared to curcumin utilized by most manufacturers as the body must digest and convert regular curcumin to the active metabolite, tetrahydrocurcumin.

To our knowledge, none of our competitors have yet compared their products to TetraCumin in any studies.

TetraCumin is a more logical selection for practitioners and patients serious about investing in high quality supplements in this category.

Hello. can you tell me if tetrahydrocurcumin is water soluble (similar to theracurmin)? thanks.

Tesseract TetraCumin® is completely soluble and is the active form of curcumin, tetrahydrocurcumin.  Your body must convert curcumin into tetrahydrocurcumin to get the benefits, TetraCumin® is already in the optimal form.  Theracumin® is basically turmeric that the manufacturer states has 30% curcumin and is milled to a small particle size that is a “submicron particle” mixed with glycerin and gum ghatti (tree sap).  It would still need conversion in the body from curcumin to tetrahydrocurcumin.  Tesseract products are nanometer sized molecules (nanometers are 1,000 times smaller than microns) that are tucked away one molecule at a time into a dextrin fiber matrix and released where appropriate in the digestive system to pass one molecule at a time through the gut wall.  Soluble, active molecules delivered one at at time for maximum benefit.
