Review: Great Timers - I am a classroom teacher and this set of sandglass timers is perfection. Not only do they cover 6 amounts of time but they are easy to ready, heavy duty, and nice to look at. Great product!
Review: Accurate enough - I bought these to help motivate a young child to stay focused on various tasks and to try to "beat the timer". The sand provides a visual reference for her to stay focused and complete her tasks on time. These are about as tall as the length of your pointer finger to your thumb when extended at a right angle. Decent diameter allows for small hands to easily use. My 1 minutes timer was so close to 60 seconds that I couldn't tell deviation from the time it took me to react on my stop watch and flip the timer. The 3 minute timer took 2 minutes 55 seconds, which is accurate enough for just motivation. I'm sure there will be variation in accuracy from the same product from the factory given quality controls though.

A: Yes!  This is exactly what I got mine for and I've been using the 3 min one in the shower for about 6 weeks now, no issue, works great for this.

This item is great, I love these timers and they all appear to measure time perfectly, the size is great as they don't take up a lot of space, they feel like they are built good and easy to use, for what I paid, it was a good deal. The only complaint I would have, is sometimes the 30 minute one gets clogged but a quick shake will fix that, aside from that, the time is good, they look nice and it's a good value for getting 6 of them.
