Jamaican Mango Black Castor Oil - Coconut (4 Ounce)

I have been natural for a few years and now that I've decided to grow my twa out I've been using this Castor Oil. My hair type is between 4B and 4C and this castor oil makes my hair really soft. The oil itself is quite thick so it makes my hair feel fuller and thicker. It smells REALLY good....like coconut. I also love that this bottle came with a small plastic stopper type thing in the cap to prevent it from leaking/spilling out of the bottle when it's closed. The last bottle that I bought at the beauty supply store did not come with this and the lid is stripped so it keeps spinning and spinning. It could also potentially leak in my bag when traveling so I was never able to pack it when on trips. This bottle from Amazon, however, travels quite well and this is a huge plus for me since I'm a flight attendant. Oh and the price from Amazon was a lot less expensive than if purchased at my local beauty supply store. I highly recommend and will be buying from Amazon.com from now on.

Smells so good, a little thick so use it sparingly if you have thin hair like mine. (It will weigh it down). It makes my hair super shiny and healthy looking and smells amazing.

I never leave reviews however I had to for this oil. This oil is amazing. My hair has never been this thick before. This is a must buy if you want really thick hair and it smells wonderful.

I was hesitant to purchase this product because I'm always nervous about trying new things for my hair. I have a short/brush cut/fade hairstyle that I've had for 10 years, and I've experimented with many different products in search of the best one. Thankfully, my search is finally over. Recently, I noticed some thinning/balding on my left temple, which made me quite worried. Living in Chicago, where the winters are cold and dry, has always been tough on my skin and hair. This year, in particular, I noticed that my hair and scalp were extremely dry, regardless of what I tried to maintain moisture. I started using this product in late December 2023, and I'm already experiencing a noticeable and positive difference. The oil itself is on the thicker side, but that means you don't need to use much of it. I absolutely adore the scent—it's become an obsession of mine. I highly recommend this product.

Well, well, well. Given the varied reviews I previously read I was somewhat hesitant but after ordering a 2 pack on good faith, I was so glad I did! The smell is very faint and not in the least overpowering which is good for everyday use. I apply this directly to my scalp and massage gently and it feels divine. Almost has a tingling effect for a few minutes. Definitely make sure to wash your hands. Oil residue in your eyes is never a good thing and yeah. That's about it! Oh and to help it penetrante into scalp and or strands thru massage, spray a light leave in and your hair will be sure to drink it right up! Update: Because castor oil has more emollient properties and is thicker compared to let's say grapeseed oil or almond or jojoba this actually works GREAT as a heat protectant if you ever want a sleek straightened look on frizzy hair. The drier or more porous rather ...dare I say...it works just as good if not better than using morroccanoil hair treatment!

L'odeur, la texture (assez liquide), et la composition me conviennent. Pour l'instant je n'ai pas de désagrément, je l'utilise un jour sur deux et je ne mets que ce produit "au quotidien" sur mes cheveux (j'évite les combinaisons d'huiles et eau). Mes cheveux ont l'air bien ! Il faudra attendre un peu pour voir si il favorise la pousse (bien que je n'ai pas acheté ce produit pour cet aspect là). L'odeur est exquise.
