Ceramic drainer much better than wood
We had an oak drainer but any damp just effected the wood. This drainer is much better, only improvement would be a deeper edge that drops into the sink. You find water can bead under that edge and sit on the wooden work top. A lip would stop this happening. We just have it sat further over the sink so it drips in.

Make sure you have worktop space for it !
Product was exactly as described. We use it on our worktop next to our ceramic sink.I think it has added a certain 'finished' quality to the overall look.
