Rubie's Women's Classic Lady Liberty Costume

cool costume, wore it for spirit days at my school and my students and other staff loved it. True to size. I steamed mine, and made my own torch out of a toilet paper roll and cup I painted. Hat is uncomfortable and needs to be broken in, felt okay after several hours of wear.

No issues! I wore a smartwool base layer underneath with plenty of room. Steam before wearing to make it look great. I also stretched the headpiece for several days before wearing and made my own torch. I ordered a Medium. 5’3, 133lbs.

The dress is very nice. I really liked the fit; it's not too tight. But the crown doesn't stay on the head. It's very difficult to use. The torch is not included.

This costume was perfect for our Church patriot musical! Everyone thought it was appropriate and made ppl smile. The head band is rubber and tight. Wouldn't stay on well without the band under my chin however. That would be my only con. Was fun tho!

I kept this costume because of the dress, soft and nice fit. Many others commented about the crown ... adorable, but it is VERY SMALL and super tight on my small head, at least half of the size that is pictured. Plus the crown's packaging causes the points to get bent/twisted. Amazon gave me a partial credit for crown and I will give it to a child.

I used it for my church program. The material is very thin and will run so be careful and gentle with it. I'm tall and got size large and it fit me well. The tiara point edges were bent. I could not straighten them out but, I wore it anyway. I plan to wear it again for different events so hopefully it lasts.
