Compact realistic feel
If you need a keyboard on a stand to hover over other hardware then look to this one. Price is nice, feel is very good, keys work well, usb cord just the right length for computer hub and most important it has a small foot print. German engineered, this board is better than the keyboard on your laptop. It does not have a height adjustment kick stand legs but it is on an angle when layed flat. I used a cord to hold it to my height adjusting swivel stand. Perfect to turn it if i have to. My former key pad was too wide which is the main reason i made this purchase & i got this used but it looked brand new when it was shipped, on a sunday as well! Plastic was still on the top of the board with original package, box & etc.. good job from the seller. 2 days and im back to mixing & typing.

4.5 stars, mostly fine but scroll lock key gets hit too much
The problem I was trying to solve by buying this was that my old keyboard has a number pad on it and is really long. I don't need a number pad and there were times when there was too much distance between the right side of the keyboard and my mouse, which became very inconvenient. So I bought this keyboard. The price is good, the keys feel good when they type, and the key action is fine. The size of the keyboard is good. Sometimes I arrange things on my desk in several different ways, and the old keyboard was too long to fit in some of the locations where I was putting it. This is much smaller so that is good. Cord length is fine, and I was able to plug it in and use it immediately. I like the fact that the keys are dedicated and aren't sharing functions with other keys (there aren't 2 functions on the same key that you have to select from, like there are on some other keyboards). Basically it is good. The biggest downside that I see is that the location of the scroll lock key is such that somehow I keep hitting it by accident and a blue light comes on (out of the 3 lights that can come on at the upper left side, it's the one on the far right). Nothing bad happens as a result of this, just the blue light is annoying. To fix it I just hit the scroll lock key again and it's over. So it's easy to fix. But this does happen on a semi-regular basis. Sometimes the caps lock key comes on when I hit it by accident (center light), but that used to also happen on my old keyboard sometimes so I don't think there is any change in that compared to the old. Mostly it is the scroll lock key I hit by accident. I recommend that you don't throw away the little manual that comes with it, because the lights aren't labeled clearly, so if the scroll lock light comes on, you will have to look up what the light is in the manual in order to turn it off. I don't use the function keys that often so it's mostly irrelevant, but the function keys aren't labeled. But they also aren't labeled on a lot of other keyboards. So that's not different than my old keyboard. Overall, I am satisfied and this keyboard has solved my issue of removing the number pad and being able to fit better on my desk in certain configurations. I've only been using this a few days so this review is based on using it that length of time. If there was more space between the main keys and the scroll lock key so I don't keep hitting it, I'd say this is almost perfect. But it's fine and I like this better than the old keyboard so I'm satisfied with it.

Perfect for Embedded/Industrial Applications
We use these keyboards religiously for our manufacturing facility, where two very important features (to us) stick out: 1. Size. It's nice and compact with relatively good feel. 2. Numlock doesn't change the middle of the keyboard into a numeric wasteland. The second of these is super important, since many of our machines turn on numlock by default after reboot, which kills the expected behavior of most compact keyboards. That this unit doesn't is a total blessing. It otherwise works fine with no drama, so I'm totally comfortable rating 5 stars and buying these by the dozen.

Good looking small form factor, cable clutter though.
Like. Makes for a great backup keyboard given its small form factor. Nice aesthetics. I cannot comment on sturdiness, have not used it long enough. While it feels reasonably well made, I have my doubts as to the long-term sturdiness and expected longevity given the low price. My principal keyboard is a Logitech bluetooth wireless. Every so often, it disconnects from my computer preventing me from typing my password to login. So ...., one needs a backup wired keyboard to use for login and reinstalling the wireless keyboard driver. This happens too, periodically, with the wireless mouse. So best to keep a wired keyboard and mouse handy. Dislike. The wired portion is very stiff PVC vinyl so for those who will be using this item as their primary keyboard will have trouble keeping it straight. In other words, the wire is not smooth and floppy so all the kinks and bends will be noticeable (lots of cable clutter). The wire is also very long which will be great for people who like to sit far from the computer and monitor (???) but a drag for those looking to minimize cable clutter. Given this price point, this is a disposable consumer item. It does not look like it can be easily recycled (so 1 ⭐️ for its high environmental impact). Overall. Works great for my need (low cost, backup wired keyboard with low expected use). No conflict of interest: I received NO compensation (e.g., cryptocurrency, cash, wage, salary, coupon, gift card, item-in-trade, discount, reimbursement, free merchandise, or other financial inducement) whatsoever for this item and my review of same. I have NO affiliation whatsoever with the seller or manufacturer of this item. I purchased this item for personal use.

Best short windows keyboard out there in 2020
I've bought 4-5 short keyboards over the last 8 years and a TIIG model I really liked is no longer made. This one is my new favorite because the keys are quiet and reliable. Based on measuring I thinks the keys are just slightly closer together than my standard lenovo laptop (like 2mm over the distance from the outside of the A and " keys). At first this concerned me as my hands are on the large size but I've been using it now for a month and its fine. I use it everyday on the USB cable to my laptop docking station. It's got a delete key in the upper right as well as the backspace key. key travel for touch typing is as good as it gets on a short mini-style keyboard. Don't know why the market doesn't have more good options but this is the best I've found in the last 6 months of looking and trying at least 4 other models.

Great size ... but it clacks
Full size keys; short width; perfect for petite people with a small wingspan. BUT, the keys clack and are hard to push. It's a finger workout.

This keyboard saved my laptop and me $$
I am so tired of laptops that malfunction after a year or two. This time, my keyboard refuses to type the letters "b" and "n". Tried all the online fixes...nothing worked. I am also trying to reuse and recycle more and couldn't stand the thought of losing another laptop. So, I purchased this cute, lightweight keyboard. It is about the size of my laptop (12 in) so I just place it on top of the old keyboard. It has a nice soft touch to type and I like that the letters and numbers are easy to see on the keys. (my current laptop has grey-on-grey keys! Why...I don't know.) This is a great solution for curbing waste and reducing landfill. I hope to keep this laptop for many more years and this keyboard is helping me do that. Price was right too!

Frustrating Keyboard - I Will Get Rid of It
I bought this keyboard when I took a look at my Dell Model SK-8115 (a fantastic keyboard) and said: Why to I need to take up so much space on my desk with a keyboard that is 17.5 inches wide because it has a number pad that I never use? So I bought this one. The size is right: only 12.5 inches wide; there is no useless number pad. Unfortunately, it has two major downsides. First, I keep inadvertently hitting the Insert key which is an unnecessary key usually situated in an out of way location (above Delete in a pad between the main keyboard and the number pad on my Dell keyboard). Insert on this keyboard is just to the left of the left arrow key. You always need to use the arrow keys, so it is easy if you are a touch typist to hit Insert when you are reaching for the left arrow. If Insert is turned on, it can make typing a maddening frustration and it is darn difficult to turn off. The second major problem is that there is no way to angle the keyboard upward -- there are no adjustable feet. My Dell keyboard has such feet that allow the keyboard to be tilted at just the right angle. This causes my hands to be in a slightly strained posture. So, I will relegate this keyboard to my spare parts collection in the garage and go back to typing on my wonderful Dell!
