Review: I don't know how I missed the fact that this pillow is actually down, but it is. When I first opened the package, I was concerned by the way it was vacuumed down. It was very uneven, unlike the foam style tend to be. I realized it was down when I actually got it opened up. Woo-Hoo! It fluffed up easily. The cover is nice and thick enough to control the feathers. Once I get a decorative cover on it, that will improve even more. It's going to be easy to get the cover on because this will squish around better than a firmer foam style pillow. And, since I like to rest my head on a pillow when we watch television, this is so much more comfortable to me. It's soft, but I can still bunch it around to get comfortable and then fluff it back into shape easily. Because it's a bit more expensive, my plan is to purchase a second one of these and then get the cheaper foam style for the other two pillows that will go on the sofa. I feel like it's a good balance. Everything will look nice and I can place them around so you don't notice that there are two different types of pillow, but there will still be two pillows that are actually more comfortable on the sofa.

I don't know how I missed the fact that this pillow is actually down, but it is. When I first opened the package, I was concerned by the way it was vacuumed down. It was very uneven, unlike the foam style tend to be. I realized it was down when I actually got it opened up. Woo-Hoo! It fluffed up easily. The cover is nice and thick enough to control the feathers. Once I get a decorative cover on it, that will improve even more. It's going to be easy to get the cover on because this will squish around better than a firmer foam style pillow. And, since I like to rest my head on a pillow when we watch television, this is so much more comfortable to me. It's soft, but I can still bunch it around to get comfortable and then fluff it back into shape easily. Because it's a bit more expensive, my plan is to purchase a second one of these and then get the cheaper foam style for the other two pillows that will go on the sofa. I feel like it's a good balance. Everything will look nice and I can place them around so you don't notice that there are two different types of pillow, but there will still be two pillows that are actually more comfortable on the sofa.
