An elegant gift pen - for others, or yourself.
I've had a Waterman Hemisphere ballpoint for years, and when my daughter got a new job I wanted to give her a gift to celebrate so I gave her one. It's a great pen, an elegant fairly narrow size, writes great, looks great. Anyone who takes mine out of my study suffers my wrath. One thing I will say, is: check the price history. This pen seems to have wide swings in price. After I bought the one for my daughter I was looking for another one but the price had gone up significantly, only to come back down periodically. Buy low, sell high.

Great Gift Pen
Bought the Hemisphere on sale for $30. It's a good value around that price point. Comes in an impressive gift box with one blue ink cartridge inside the pen. No papers in the lower compartment of the box. I noticed the pen I received makes ratcheting sound when twisting it open/closed. Wasn't expecting this because I have a Waterman Expert ballpoint that's exceptionally smooth on the twist.

Okay, not great
I expected a better quality feel considering the brand and the price. But it's not really worth the money, although it looks cool and the weight of it is fine too. Not an impressive writing experience.
