Does it record WhatsApp calls? What is the range of bluetooth on this device?

Unfortunately, this device will not record whatsapp calls or any other apps like that.

Will this record both sides of the conversation if i use a Bluetooth ear piece and this device at the same time?

One device at a time. However if you use speaker phone the recorder will automatically go into open mic record and get both sides of the conversation

Will this store the number from the call your recording?

No it will not, it doesn't have caller identification capabilities. However, as a working tool, it is possibly one of the best investments I've made to date. It allows you the recording of all calls, which is great for telephonic interviews, when you're not able to write the information. It doubles as Bluetooth in your car, so you never have to pull over. You auto's Bluetooth can be in use and this will still record your conversation, as long as it is still paired. I maintains folders and files, as you coordinate them with the aide of your computer. All files are in your pocket at all times. However, its best to maintain a second file away from this one.
