Yes - you can see the opening on the picture - it looks like a letter box! There is a tray that pulls out just under that opening, and the printed paper comes through it. There is also a small fold out support for the printed paper.

Hi, the unit only has 1 scanner unit so cannot do auto 2-sided scanning. The MFC-J985DW does support 1-pass 2-sided scanning.
