Following the instructions, I noticed that Rachel (who packed my package with pride) was a bit too proud and forgot to include two insulating foam pieces for the rear of the hardtop. The installed product looks nice and gives the hardtop a more finished look. Music definitely has a bit more boom to it and I can feel a that the jeep stays a little cooler after leaving the jeep out in the sun for a while. For nearly $400 I was expecting a bit more quality wise as someone with a steady hand can reproduce this for a fraction of the cost. Overall I am pleased with the look of the product, but the low score mostly comes from the quality to price and because Rachel had forgotten to pack some pricey foam after proudly packing it all away.

Well over Memorial Day weekend I bought my first long overdue Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Hardtop as a retirement present! I live in South Florida and driving home from dealership I realized this is going to need some type of inside insulation before summer. I scoured the internet and this company (DEI) kept coming up as the best. So I ordered the kit in a couple days it came. Next day I followed instructions and began installing panels took a little over an hour and half (take your time). Looked incredible and fits well, but the next day would tell it if it works. Well it hit a record 96 degrees I got in and knew it felt a lot cooler than without panels. I turned the AC on and within 10 minutes of driving I could turn it on low whereas before it wouldn’t keep really cool on high! I’m sold costs a little more but money was well spent! Also makes sounds system and conversations sound way better too! Try it your’ll love it!

It fits the plug in electric model even if Amazon warns you not. I was even ready to use scissors but it actually fits, i dont mind that pieces are a bit bigger than holes. My picky wife and kids actually noticed the extra quietness and coolness, i didn't told them beforehand to get a real feedback, and the roof is not baking us anymore. It is a deafening material and gives that weird sound absorbing feeling. My dislike is that if you fold or wrinkle the front sides, the wrinkles are permanent but nobody is looking up attentive all the time right? Rollers will cause this and you'll get a long line of wrinkles. The center panels are the hardest to put on but i have good skinny fingers and was able to slide them in. These may seem like they dont fit but they do, you might be hitting something or have it backwards, check multiple times u got the right part lol. It is true that removing the whole roof makes it easier but I'm lazy.
