The best matte eyeshadow palate
For those of us who are a certain decade finding an eyeshadow palate that is all matte is a rare treat. While younger less wrinkled women may be fine with glittering shadows that hi light their eyes that glitter can look like a bad Vegas show for those of us with many decades of well lived life. Thus I celebrate the soft palate that Hourglass has kindly supplied making it as neutral or starkly dark as one might wish. Bravo!

Perfect All-in-One Eyeshadow Palette - From Subtle to Sultry
I am absolutely obsessed with this palette. The color combination in the Realist palette I selected is very similar to my favorite TooFaced one that was discontinued years ago. It has the perfect shades for a natural, contoured eye and also works beautifully for a dramatic, sultry smoky look. The packaging is gorgeous and has a heavy duty feel, which makes it easy to toss in a bag when on the go without worrying about it getting damaged. The shadows are high quality and very pigmented so a little goes a long way. The color is buildable, making it easy to go from subtle to bold. It blends effortlessly for a polished look and contains both matte and shimmery shades, offering a wide range of options whether I want something understated or full glam. It works well for a professional daytime look and just as well for a night out. I have always been a fan of Hourglass cosmetics and this palette did not disappoint. While it is on the pricier side for an eyeshadow quad, I find it worth it for the quality and versatility. Overall, I am really impressed with this palette.

Love Hourglass....
I am a huge Hourglass fan. I have about every ambient lighting palette ever made. This product performs beautifully. No complaints there. This palette is hardly even broken in yet. Last week, I opened the palette and the lightest shade was broken. Irritating, but I still had my 3 favorite shades. This morning, the darkest shade was also broken. I am very careful with my products so considering they weren't dropped or broken by me. Disappointing at this price point.
