Will this work to 'fix' the dye in denim jeans? I tried a vinegar solution and it didn't work, the jeans still 'bleed' blue.

Soda ash (sodium carbonate) is commonly used in the dyeing process to optimize natural fibers for dye absorption. We are not certain it would work after dyeing has been complete and is bleeding color, however.
